Heavy rain in the evening encouraged him to stay with the blonde lady for a night, and the decision he made was one of the few that he has ever felt happy and satisfied with. He was more than comfortable sleeping on the wooden floor near the fireplace. With few layers of folded blankets as his bed, he was more than comfortable to turn into a cat and curled himself on the warm and thick materials. He slept peacefully for the night. Distant sound of claws made by roosters made the young strain grumbled in his sleep. It has been awhile since he could have good rest, like this. Most of the time he would have to keep his guard on and stay cautions even when he was sleeping. His tail began to pat the ground, as if it has its own mind. It flapped and patted the mattress in rhythm of sort, and slowly, Lafayel opened his eyes. He was not all intense like he normally would, as he knew he was in a safe place, for now. No, he would like not to think about it. At least, for not, he wanted to enjoy the peace he has in his hand right now- not just the peace, but also the warmth and care that seemed so foreign to him, who used to be loved and cherished when he was four. Birds chirped outside the warm and sweet home. He raised his muzzle and yawned as wide as to his satisfaction. He got up and started stretching, purring as he did. Red eyes scanned through the dim compartment in the house, adjusting to the darkness so he could move easily without staggering on things and wake up the lady who was still sleeping. Yes, it was a fortunate event that she was alone in the house. Okay, maybe it was not right for a young man and a young lady so be alone together in a house but, he has high respect for women. They were angels, or a mother-like in this situation. Shadow of the cat slowly morphed and grew larger into a form of a man bending down with his knees on the floor. He rose his head, cat ears twitched and his eyes opened and looked at the kitchen. Not caring how inappropriate he might look in just an over-sized shirt covering him from top to his knees, he decided to head to the food haven in the house and started grabbing utensils. He wanted to prepare breakfast for them both and yes, he can cook and he was extremely happy that he wanted to cook.

Piros reminded him of another place on Raduga that he hated and it was not his hometown, but the island of Isle. Both places gave him unfriendly environment and the people were all tough-looking. They scared him, which was why he found himself comfortable wandering in the city as a cat.
Tail swung idly as his feline eyes observed the slums' alleys and structures. Ears stayed sharp picking and listening to noises and sounds around him. Despite Piros was not as developing as other cities on the continent, it sure was busy as hell. There was no second to spare for silence to creep in in the air. One moment a person walked away, another person would walk in. Footsteps heard shuffling the dirt and sand on the ground as people passed by.
The cat halted with one paw hung centimeters off the cracked surface. Black nozzle twitched in bewildered over a sudden scent in the air. He looked up and watched as clouds began to gather and covered the once blue sky.
Rain.
He growled and started sprinting. He took one long straight run along the alley and then took a left turn and continued sprinting. The rain began to fall and it fell right behind him. It was like a game of tag, where he would run and the rain would chase. He managed to escape it for few rounds but as rain began to pour heavily, he had to give in and seek shelter from nearby building. He was not completely drenched, though some parts of his coat were damp. He licked his fur clean, curled himself and rested his muzzle on his paws. His eyes felt heavy and slowly, he fell asleep.
Half an hour passed and it felt only like a second. One eye opened and he took sweet time to focus on what was in his sight. His ears straightened up, turning side to side. He raised his muzzle up, got on all four paws and started stretching. He yawned and purred in delight. He wanted to go back to his nap, but as he was about to curl, his eyes spotted a figure.
A familiar face was heading towards him in the alley. He stopped what he was going to do and decided to wait for her to approach him. He would meow, but he hated meowing, especially in front of someone he knew. It's embarrassing.

The warmth that had been missing in his life was now something that was no longer impossible for him to reach.
When the blonde woman embraced him, his ears perked up and tail straightened in shock. He never was hugged this way before. This was a whole new kind of embracing experience, and it was nothing sensual or pervert. It was as nice and comforting as how a mother would hug her child. She was very motherly- young but motherly and beautiful too.
He was too overwhelmed with feelings he felt he was being squashed by a heavy rock from above that could knock him off his knees right now. Red eyes lingered down on the cold floor as he tried to hold on himself from breaking down and cry like he had never done before. Words she uttered were the words he had been wanting to hear- he wanted someone to hold him down and comfort him, rather than letting him go or shoving him aside like a pest.
A kiss on his forehead made the young strain whined gently and blushed. His eyes remained shyly looking down and after she ruffled his dirty blonde hair, Lafayel braced himself to look up at the woman's face with his cheeks remained in shade of red.
He wanted to stay. Yes, and he will stay for tonight and figure out the troubles all tomorrow... or tomorrow's tomorrow... or maybe in the future when the troubles catch him.
For now, he chuckled with his tail wagged side to side like a happy cat and with cheerful voice and few drops of tears of joy, he finally could say words he has been wanting to say.
"Thank you for having me." Please, let this woman continued to look after him.

All he ever done was complaining about how terrible his life was and how he was unsatisfied living with a man, who his abusive uncle had signed his name as a payment for debt with.
Not once, in his life, he ever be thankful that he has complete body parts- two legs, two arms, cat ears and tail, and functional sensory organs like eyes. To be able to see scenery, people and things around is supposed to be a blessing one should constantly be thankful for, but Lafayel took it for granted until now.
Hearing the light-haired man stated he was blind since birth pant the strain's heart a bit. He froze for the minute as his red eyes observed his expression. He struggled in figuring out how he should respond. Should he feel sympathy for him? Or should he treat him like how with others? Sympathy from a monster like him might not be the right choice, but the man was unaware about him at all- treating him like any ordinary person.
That made Lafayel smiled a little.
"I'm glad," he muttered. Realized he responded to this thoughts out loud, he quickly said, "No, I mean- I'm sorry that you are born sightless. If you can see me, you might..." he glanced away from the man and down on his red snack. He smiled and looked back at him.
"Do you want a bite?"

He glared right at their faces so sharp that it could pierce through their flesh. After seconds passed by, he sighed heavily and sat back down on the ground. He was also fidgeting on his chair when the lady took a seat beside him. This was a bit unusual experience for him. The moment she did not react to his display of affection (the licking) the way he expected, Lafayel has been somewhat not him at all. The normal Lafayel would not fidget like a shy boy. The normal Lafayel would not feel any sort of embarrassment at all. He would probably try to hit more on her until she give in to his seduction, so he could trick her all the way.
Instead, right now, he felt somewhat... different. He has no desire to do what he had done to others, only wanting to spend more and more time with her. A minute passed, he wished for another minute and when the minute also passed, he wished for another minute. He really wanted to stay here, even though he normally would not have such needs.
The strain was all red-faced when she remarked how she preferred to see him in his human form rather than his cat form. His eyes remained slow and started on the floor, watching the shadow of his. He rubbed his elbow and muttered, "It's... it's not human. I mean... I'm not human, people hate me because I have ears and tail different than others." He lowered his hand from his elbow to his wrist and gripped it firm. He looked at her and at the pot she was using to cook something delicious. The smell tickled his nose, reminding him of home cooks. A small smile appeared oh his face. "Maybe I should... leave. You are cooking for someone too, it seems. I better get out before people think wrong about you," he turned and almost hit his leg on a chair. He whined a bit and rushed his steps, wanting to leave before someone finds him.

OMG there's gonna be angst like 'I TRUSTED YOU! QAQ HOW COULD YOU' screaming and kicking while azar takes him away (and being tortured and being turned into a doll). XDD I am all up for the fluffs between these two. Luffy is used to men having him anyway, and so as he to other men. Like we talked in cbox just now, I can imagine one part they in the same room and Luffy sees his tattoos and kinda curious about each of it.
