Even though I've escaped the wilderness of oblivion I still can't remember Every time I trace my memory I lose sight of it in the same place I fall into repetitions of the same thing Over and over again Now that I've been reborn, I wander even more let us end this By our own action SANIBELLE GREENWOOD || I'M SORRY IT'S SHORT! QAQ There was something about this shop that made the strain has his two cat ears perked up and his gold-like fur tail swung side to side. Looking through the glass windows of the shop, he squirted his eyes to see further inside, wondering what that ball-looking thing was. Something about that ball made his instinct itched.
Well! Once again the wondrous cat strain, Lafayel set on journey to cities on Raduga and this time, he wounded up in Zold. Yes, Zold- he hated the name of the city, let alone the people in it. Because he was shun for being different than others in the town, he could not bring himself to walk in to the city in his human form. The strain stood in front of the shop was not a young man in early twenties with blonde hair but, instead, a domestic tomcat with dirty blonde coat and white coat under chest. He pressed his paws on the glass and stood up on his back hinds so his eyes to see better. The morning was cold and the ground was wet, assuming rain had just passed by the green clan city. Few voices and squeaks heard as passersby walked passed by and took a look at him.
Kids eager to touch his tail, but their parents scolded them not to touch dirty-looking creatures like him. Adults gave him disgusting glares, as if a cat like him was nothing more but a pest on the busy street. He rolled his eyes and continued peeking through the glass. This was exactly why he left the town. He hated them. People called Zold as the city suitable to live in, but they have no idea just how rude they were. He got back on all four, turned his head behind and licked his damp fur. Few licks on his back and he stopped, feeling as if someone was nearby. His ears twitched over the presence and he looked up to see who.
Whoever this was, he was glad he did snot smelt musky woods and faint blood.

Another cold and rainy day. Dew dripped from the window and coldness creeped through. Sanibelle herself was never bothered by the cold but she figured she’d have to wear something heavy that would keep the rain off of her. The sky was dark and gloomy, but today was one of her traveling days to the Avenue of Critics. She dressed in wool burgundy bustier and puffy long sleeved white shirt. A long black leather belt accented her waist. Hands attached a drawstring bag filled with a few sewing supplies like snips, needles, and threads. Sanibelle was headed to a small yarn and woven shop in the art district of the Avenue. The customer was the owner’s 18 year old daughter who had ordered a dress for her engagement ceremony. The young woman had requested a dress with green velvet, a shiny brown green silk embroidered with hand made leaves, gold trim, and corseted front with black cotton cording. It was a big project, but still simple to what Sanibelle has made. In total, the dress cost the family 800 gold shillings even if what a simple looking dress. But anyone who worked and lived close the Avenue definitely had money to spare. Sanibelle packed the dress carefully into a lined wicker basket. She placed a piece of leather on top to protect it from the rain. She took her grey wool cloak and placed it on her shoulders. A deep sigh escaped her lips before she left the house with the delivery. I really hope she likes the dress… Sanibelle did have very picky customers before always requesting certain things last minute, which is why she always brought some swing supplies to the final appointment. The young blonde woman said goodbye to her mother who was downstairs before she headed off. Sanibelle stopped by the bakery to pick up a small breakfast of sausage and bread and nibbled on it on the way to the Avenue. To be honest, the Avenue did make her a little weary especially at night. It was known to be a little shady and she hated going there alone when it hit 6pm. Luckily enough for her, it was an afternoon appointment which made her feel better about going there alone. When she passed through the long line of blacksmiths and metalsmiths, she got a few “Hellos” and “Good day, Miss”. She politely waved back while quickly walking through trying to avoid any eye contact with weird people. After a bit of uncomfortable walking, she reached the higher end of the Avenue where the artisan shops were. There, she walked into the yarn and woven shop. “Hello, Mr. Grey, is your daughter around? I have her dress ready,” Sanibelle smiled, pushing back her hood on her cloak. “Oh yes! She’s in the back Sanibelle.” “Thanks Mr. Grey.” Sanibelle gently moved over to the back room of the Grey’s store and saw her client, Olivia Grey sitting at her loom. “Olivia, it’s Sanibelle. I have your dress ready.” The brunette haired girl turned around and flashed an excited smile. “Oh how fantastic! I’ll it on now to show papa!” Olivia stood up and hurried over to Sanibelle who pulled out the dress from her basket. “It’s so beautiful Sanibelle..you’re so talented!” A shrilling giggle escaped Olivia’s lips as she headed behind some changing screens. Olivia’s shrills made Sanibelle’s ears ring and her massive amount of energy and childish manner really did exhaust the older girl sometimes. God bless the man who is engaged to her. Olivia came from behind the changing screens in her new dress. The green, gold and soft brown accented her brunette hair, olive skin and fair features beautifully. Mr. Grey walked in and stared in awe at his daughter. To Sanibelle’s pleasure, the dress fit like a glove and accented Olivia’s curves making her look more mature than 18. “Sanibelle..you did an exquisite job… Mr. Ederson was quite right about your skills!” “Thank you for your kind words, Mr. Grey,” Sanibelle smiled. “Please, if you need anything, let me know.” “Well, I am looking for some wool for some new projects.” “Oh! Well please, take three skeins of wool to your liking. Three for a price of one is acceptable?” “Thank you for your generosity, Mr. Grey!” Another warm smile was given as she handed Mr. Grey 10 shillings. She bowed a little bit and headed towards the shop section. Sanibelle picked up three skeins of purple dyed wool making her hands smell like lavender. She bid her last goodbyes to the Grey’s and opened the door to head home. As she stepped outside, her amethyst eyes picked up the image of a dirty blonde cat. “Oh you poor thing.. did someone lose you? Are you hungry?” Sanibelle bent down and pulled a small bit of leftover sausage out. She reached out her hand with the small bite of sausage in her palm. “You must be chilly, aren’t you? Supposed to rain today…” Her free hand slowly brushed against the fur on the cat’s back. OOC: OutfitLeather boots CloakCustomer's dress

QAQ Licking his fur in hope he will look clean and not looked like a dirty creature as being called by others. What do they know? Their life were perfect, with good food to eat, and a perfect home to go back to. He was homeless and alone, but he refused to admit he was any less than others in life, no. He was proud to be born as who he was now.
Lafayel watched the woman as she bent down. It made him took few steps back though, a normal reaction of a cat when a human tries to get close to it. He did not purr or meow. A cat like him made people think he was a mute. Actually, it was because he was not a cat animal, he was a cat strain. He was a human gifted with ability to shapeshift into a domestic cat, and no, he cannot communicate with other cats so they thought him weird. All he would hear for them was this annoying purring and nuzzling his ticklish body.
The lady was an angel. It was because of lady like her that made the cat strain fidgeted on his feet, wagging his tail slowly and shyly. Women were born to be angels, but some were just succubus in human disguise. They hated ugly and dirty things. They liked fanciness of the world and refused to admit doing good deeds were the best. He could not hate them tho. He feared them, but not hated them. He was so used to being shun away the woman's kindness has him flabbergasted.
Free meal was hard to find, even if it was just a small piece of sausage. He moved closer to her palm, being drawn in by the scent of the tasty-looking meat she offered. He bit the sausage and pull it off her hand and began chewing on it one bite a time. Gentle hand brushed along his back, feeling the warmth that transferred into him upon in contact. He looked up at her.
Who is she? He would have known her if she was someone from this city. The cat tilted his head a bit, growling in wonder.
((OH! THAT'S RIGHT! LUFFY WAS BORN IN ZOLD AND HE WAS HERE FOR FIVE YEARS! Could they have been friends before I wonder?))

“You’re such a beautiful animal,” Sanibelle smiled as her hand continued to rub the cat’s back. She managed to pull more sausage and broke it up into about 12 pieces. “You know, you look very familiar. I remember when I was young, I would always see a dirty blonde cat just like you. Well, he was smaller then of course, but still as beautiful. He’d walk in front of the family shop and my Aunt and I would feed him small bits of food left over from lunch. Of course such pleasurable things end after a while. He stopped showing up...but life happens doesn’t it?” A gentle laugh escaped her pale pink lips. People probably thought she was crazy, sitting on a stone step in front of a yarn shop talking to a cat. Sanibelle wasn’t a person to let those things get to her anyway. She always believed that kindness and love were gifts well shared with a human, animal, strain and who ever needed it. One hand returned to petting the soft coat of the cat and the other holding out the small pieces of sausage. Soon enough, she felt some rain dampen her head and stain the stone work on some of the buildings. “Oh you poor dear…” Sanibelle placed the sausage in her lap on her skirt, and her hands gently lifted the cat into her lap. She wrapped her cloak around her a bit more allowing her body heat warm the small animal. Slender fingers scratched behind the pointed ears and down the nape of the nape of cat’s back. “You ought to eat deary,”the young blonde said as she lifted some more pieces of sausage. Amethyst eyes looked up at the sky and dark clouds were beginning to move fast and getting darker. Rumbles began to be heard. “Hold on sweety...I’m going to take yo home to keep you warm. It’s a short walk and I’ll be able to feed you more healthy.” Sanibelle rolled over the piece of the leather over and lifted the cat gingerly and placed him gently in her basket. She moved the skeins of wool around to keep him warm. Sausage was placed on a small cloth near the cat’s face. Sanibelle stood up and lifted her hood up. Rain began to get heavier and she walked as fast as she could. She kept her eyes in front to avoid shady characters until she got home. Luckily, she wasn’t too drenched and was able to miss the loud claps of thunder. Her family was out so she was home alone. Hands pulled off the cloak and she hung it up to let it dry. “Okay Mr. Kitty let’s get you some warm milk and a warm blanket.” Sanibelle started a warm fire and poured some milk in a cast iron pot that hung from a rod above the fire. She lit some candles and grabbed a small wool blanket. Hands arranged it into a oval shape and she gently placed the cat onto it. When the milk was warm enough, she ladled some into a small wood bowl and placed it near the cat. “Stay here okay? I’ll be right back.” Sanibelle headed upstairs and changed into a light pink cotton nightgown with long sleeves. Fingers ran through her long blonde hair and dropped down around her ample breasts. She grabbed a blanket from her closet and headed back downstairs. The young woman grabbed a big cushion and placed it near he fire place. She sat down and wrapped the blanket around her. “Are you warm enough, Mr. Cat?” she asked with a soft smile and laugh. Her hand slowly rubbed his back like she had done before. OOC: Night Dress

Even though I've escaped the wilderness of oblivion I still can't remember Every time I trace my memory I lose sight of it in the same place I fall into repetitions of the same thing Over and over again Now that I've been reborn, I wander even more let us end this By our own action SANIBELLE GREENWOOD || MAN!LUFFY IS HERE! This was not the first time a female- be it a small kid, or a lady- took him out of sympathy. Lafayel was used to this kind of treatment, and he took full advantage of it too. He would end up in the female's house, being bathed and treated like a newborn with love and care, but what did he do in return? He snatched some food, and jumped out through the window. He remembered the faces who took him in but they vaguely remembered him. He looked like any other cats, except his coat was all too rare for an ordinary cat.
When this particular lady spoke of a boy who seemed similar to him, it made the cat strain jolted on his paws. He thought he would remember her if she had rescued him before. His eyes watched the female as she spoke about the boy on and on. His mind wandered.
This city was the city who abandoned him- the city and its people who shoved him in the same group as monsters outside the walls. He hated them, all of them, but there were few he could not. Lafayel furrowed his eyes a bit as he tried to remember if she was one of the good guys or one of the bad guys. A growl heard. Whatever, past is past. It would be her loss today for being too kind.
He thought it was though.
Lafayel could see the trick she tried to make him came closer to her. He was not stupid and brainless like an actual cat. Yet, he played along. He climbed up her skirt and let the lady helped him to get on her skirt. She sheltered him from the incoming rain. Well, that's the first. Lafayel looked up at her, watched her beautiful facial features and listened to her voice. Somehow, he felt welcomed in her embrace as she carried him. He looked at the sausage and simply felt he has lost his appetite. His mind continued to wander on many possibilities about the lady.
So many he was confused and felt heavy inside. Nostalgic feelings began to bloom. Why, though?
He thought he had cast every single thing about Zold down the pitch of darkness and watched it burnt in raging fire the night his father threw him out of the house and let the evil uncle took him. So why was he trying so hard to gather the pieces back, scattering the ashes around to find something that could explain the sense of familiarity he has about this woman?
Before he knew, he had fallen asleep. The weather was cold as the rain poured heavily, but he felt so warm and comfortable that his eyelids decided they should take a break and closed windows of his sight. He was lullabied in good old sweet dreams he used to have when he was three.
When I was three I...
Lafayel opened his eyes instantly. Faint footsteps heard nearby and he sprung up his body, alerted. His eyes looked around, not knowing where he was right now. And the lady? She has gone elsewhere. He was still in daze. The strain shook his head and got up. He needed to get out. Wait, he needed to steal some food AND get out. He cussed himself for forgetting about it.
“Are you warm enough, Mr. Cat?”
He turned quickly behind to see the woman was already back and she patted him. He looked at her, right in the eyes. His tail swung side to side, signified he was enjoying her soft pats. He felt a grin coming in and slowly he closed his eyes. A paw rested on the girl's wrist. Fire crackled behind the scene and the shadow of the cat slowly evolved, taking the shape of a man, so as he. The paw that was once on the female's wrist, were now fingers of man.
Lafayel opened his eyes and slowly brought his face close to the lady. He murmured, "Yes, I feel very warm now, thank you milady." He leaned to her side face and licked it.

A small furry paw became the hand of a naked man. Sanibelle watched as he leaned forward and licked her cheek after whispering, "Yes, I feel very warm now, thank you milady." "I'm glad you're warm, but you won't stay warm too long if you're naked," Sanibelle replied with a small laugh. Her hand lifted up and ruffled the man's blonde hair between his two feline ears. "You know, you're the second feline Strain I've met in Zold." Most young woman would be phased by seeing a naked man, but Sanibelle wasn’t phased. She had seen some mostly naked men in their loin clothes and fabric under garments. Even though Sanibelle had never been seen a full naked man, but to her it was a body and bodies had parts. The blonde haired young woman stood up and patted down her night dress. "I'll get you some clothes, but I'd cover yourself and stay close to the fire until I come back." Hands handed the naked strain her blanket and headed to a back room where there were old clothes of father's that he stopped wearing or used mainly for work. Amethyst eyes rummaged through an old trunk under the light of a candle. Thunder and rain still embraced the outside, making some of the candles flicker. Sanibelle managed to find a tattered pair of pants and stained tunic. They were ragged and stained, but would do to at least cover the strain so he wasn't parading around naked. She grabbed the clothing and walked back to kitchen. Sanibelle handed the man the clothes. "Here, put these on," she smiled. "I'm going to make some stewed vegetables if you'd like any." Sanibelle walked over to a counter and grabbed a cabbage, a few carrots and a few onions out of a wood bowl. "If you need anything, please let me know. We have plenty of food and an extra bed if needed," she added as she roughly chopped up the vegetables. OOC: TunicPants

Even though I've escaped the wilderness of oblivion I still can't remember Every time I trace my memory I lose sight of it in the same place I fall into repetitions of the same thing Over and over again Now that I've been reborn, I wander even more let us end this By our own action SANIBELLE GREENWOOD || This take Awhile Impressive. Or was it astonished? He was not sure. Most females, or males even, would flatter upon seeing a cat changed into a young man. If that was not strange enough, at least seeing a naked boy would freak them out, which was amusing for Lafayel to see to be honest. Disappointed not getting the reaction he thought he would, Lafayel remained still in his posture, watching her with his mind wondered endlessly.
He blinked a bit and shut his eyes when her hands extended towards him. For some reasons he was frightened. He felt scared. He thought she would hit him like others, who were not fond of his ability and the fact he could change, would. Instead, his eyes flustered opened, with light blush on his face, when the same warm hand remained to ease him with gentle pats like before. He let out soft whine of sort.
"You know, you're the second feline Strain I've met in Zold."
He looked at her as she somewhat sorted out the wonder in his mind. He was close to saying, "No wonder you weren't that surprised". He simply looked aside and then back at her.
"I'll get you some clothes, but I'd cover yourself and stay close to the fire until I come back."
Lafayel was not paying attention to her, he was abstracted by her unchanged kindness. It made the strain felt so awkward in place, he curled his tail around him and sat properly. To be honest, this was a bit unusual. He would not act this way with other people, he might even try to piss them particularly the man he was living with currently. His eyes wondered around the compartment, seeking for not an escape routed but a spot to go to. For once, he thought this he should stick around a little while. He denied his heart's wish for a place to say, knowing he could not ask for such thing. He was an outcast and he will forever be.
His ruby eyes glowed in the dim space as they looked at the lady returned back to the kitchen. His hands grabbed the clothes she offered, muttering "thank you" under his breathe and blushed. He was so shocked with what he said and he felt like biting his tongue to punish himself. His expression remained unmoved by the mess he was facing inside. He put it on, they fit him right. He had to put his tail inside with his left leg, making that side of pants appeared almost like a snake was slithering underneath. He scoffed a bit. "Don't trouble yourself, I can just turned back to being a cat," he said, not wanting to feel so welcomed in this warm home.
He has one hand on the other elbow as he looked at her. "You are weird. I know I am the second feline strain you have met but strains are monsters," he said, gripping his elbow. "And what if I'm a bad guy? What if... I plan to rob your house now?"

Sanibelle threw the vegetables into a large cast iron pot with some water, animal fat and seasonings. She carried the pot over the fire and hung it on the bar and hook over the open flame. She then returned to sitting next to the strain and looked at him, Amethysts eyes almost piercing through him. "You are weird. I know I am the second feline strain you have met but strains are monsters. And what if I'm a bad guy? What if... I plan to rob your house now?"
A small laugh escaped her lips before letting out a sigh. “You’re funny and wrong, you know that, right? Strains, monsters? HAH! No, no, the only monsters in the world are the lurkers and evil souls. Humans are more of monsters than strains… Of course many people would disagree, but I was raised to accept people and strains for who they are. Difference really shouldn’t be a bad definition... As for the robbing and a bad guy… Wouldn’t you have done that already instead of conversing with me?” She replied lifting up a define eyebrow. “Well if you were to rob me, it wouldn’t be too bad… You can replace items. If you were to kill me, that’d be different. You can never replace a person that is loved and cared for.”
The young blonde woman grabbed an iron rod and poked the wood before adding some more logs. A pale hand grabbed a wooden spoon and stirred the vegetables, the smell of cabbage, carrots, and onions wafted through the kitchen making Sanibelle’s stomach grumble out of hunger. “To be honest…if you turned into a cat, we wouldn’t be able to have such a wonderful conversation.” Sanibelle smiled, putting the spoon down on a small cloth. “I quite like your human form.”

He was also fidgeting on his chair when the lady took a seat beside him. This was a bit unusual experience for him. The moment she did not react to his display of affection (the licking) the way he expected, Lafayel has been somewhat not him at all. The normal Lafayel would not fidget like a shy boy. The normal Lafayel would not feel any sort of embarrassment at all. He would probably try to hit more on her until she give in to his seduction, so he could trick her all the way.
Instead, right now, he felt somewhat... different. He has no desire to do what he had done to others, only wanting to spend more and more time with her. A minute passed, he wished for another minute and when the minute also passed, he wished for another minute. He really wanted to stay here, even though he normally would not have such needs.
The strain was all red-faced when she remarked how she preferred to see him in his human form rather than his cat form. His eyes remained slow and started on the floor, watching the shadow of his. He rubbed his elbow and muttered, "It's... it's not human. I mean... I'm not human, people hate me because I have ears and tail different than others." He lowered his hand from his elbow to his wrist and gripped it firm. He looked at her and at the pot she was using to cook something delicious. The smell tickled his nose, reminding him of home cooks. A small smile appeared oh his face. "Maybe I should... leave. You are cooking for someone too, it seems. I better get out before people think wrong about you," he turned and almost hit his leg on a chair. He whined a bit and rushed his steps, wanting to leave before someone finds him.

”It's... it's not human. I mean... I'm not human, people hate me because I have ears and tail different than others. Maybe I should... leave. You are cooking for someone too, it seems. I better get out before people think wrong about you.”
“Like I said before, difference in my eye is a good thing… and there is no other person. My family is away tonight and probably for another few days.” Sanibelle would have said more to the young strain, he quickly got up and head towards the front door. “Wait!” the young blonde stood up and followed him in a soft pace in order to not scare him away. She wasn’t insulted by the actions, but almost kind of hurt. Did she scare him? Was she being too friendly? Things like this made her worry, and even though they just met, she would feel bad if she hurt him badly in any shape or form.
“If you’re going to leave…at least wear the proper stuff, Luffy…” pale hands took a cloak and some of her father’s shoes and handed them to the young strain. Her ears could still hear the heavy rain and rumbles of thunder over the roof and cobblestone. “If I offended you in any way to the point that made you want to leave, I’m sorry.” Her words were soft and sincere in a motherly way. “But please, at least wear something that’ll protect you from the weather. If there was a way to convince you to say, I would, but your decision seems set in stone.” Sanibelle’s beautiful eyes went from a calm expression to a worried expression faster than a heartbeat.
