Luffy and Kiddo. Most people call him Luffy since it is more or less the closest nickname to his given name. Some older travelers, who do not prefer first-name basis approach, call him Kiddo. In the part of city where he grew, he was called a freak because of his abilities as a strain. Azar Luski (Syn) calls him by different, humiliating, names: kit, kitten, toy, doll, lulu- whatever that comes in that man's mind to pick on him.

Luffy chooses to live and fight only for himself. Born as a strain, he was condemned to be a freak and was raised differently from other kids in the town. The nicest way to describe himself and his status with the Colorless king. Realizes that the man holds his life in his hand, Luffy sheds his pride away and obeys him, but only in a stern situation. Most of the time, Luffy disregards his words and fights back, only to excite the cruel man to torment him even more.

Aside from his blonde hair, gold-like eyes and obviously adorable cat features, Luffy has rather sharp canine teeth seen whenever he smiles or laughs. He has no moles or birthmark. There are some old and healing bruises all over his body particularly at the corners of his lips, back and hands, indicate that he has a brutal and painful life.

Generally, Luffy defined himself as a courageous, independent and free-spirited young man. He cares less of other's opinion about him, his life and what what he does for living. He is very straight-forward person, which make people distaste him. At the same time, some people feel secure around him for his honest and out-spoken attitudes. Luffy has keen senses and sharp eyes that observe things around him and memorizes them. Despite his lack education background, the young strain is very resourceful and eager to explore new things. He does not have many friends, but those who made into his small circle could see just now enjoyable to have him around. He is funny, free-spirited and very compassionate which makes him a reliable companion.
The downsides of knowing Luffy is that he has no sense of attachment, moves on his own course and have less sense of concern for other people. He is stubborn and hasty and you mix these two traits together, you get a problematic and insolent brat- which is, of course, Luffy. He denies any form of restraints- imprisonment, laws, authorities, relationship, bond- anything that keeps him from doing what he wants. Do something that annoys him or something that he hates, and you can see this adorable cat bristle his fur and bares his teeth at you. He has no sense of self-control when he is angry, letting his emotions flow vigorously through every inch of his body, driving him to be a violent and wild were-cat. Oh, and he bites.

Aichmophobia - morbid fear of sharp things. In a situation if he is exposed to or if he sees a pointy object, he goes rigid and his breathing will gradually drop and turn shallow. If the object is brought as close as two inches near him, Luffy will either faint or becomes silent, emotionless and extremely docile like a doll for couple of hours.
Claustrophobia - fear of enclosed spaces. Unlike his fear over sharp objects, Luffy is still able to function but not effectively when he is being confined.
