Before the war, Raduga communicated with individuals of unknown origin, and they shared stories regarding an ancient capital of a glorious empire. Doubt and suspicion remained in the hearts of the Radugans; however, their visitors ardently believed in their stories, which had been orally passed through the generations. They claimed that the ancient empire reigned over a vast portion of the world, including places that the Radugan people could never dream of. The ruins of the ancient kingdom had been lost though explorers have stumbled upon ruins of unparalleled magnificence, which they believe are the remnants of a forgotten empire.

After the war, the people of Raduga lost their connection with their gods, and when they began to regain their faith, they forgot about the ancient beings that protected them and guided them. Their continued support of Laylah—the goddess of wisdom and the sky—did not translate to Gavril, the god of fertility and nature. No, Raduga callously abandoned their former patron saint, leaving his shrine to decay on Asími.
