City of Chrysós
Towering above the gleaming city, the winter palace stands in its majesty. Citizens travel from their homes to the imperial capital to find answers or solutions to their problems, and the Vasiliás humors them. He never turns anyone away and holds official meetings every month; however, with the decline in his health, access to the palace has become limited. Only a specific number of individuals are granted permission to traverse the halls of the palace, leaving the residents of Raduga in suspense and amplifying their worry regarding the fate of their ruler.

Another attraction of Chrysós would be the official headquarters of the Gold Clan, which operates as the realm’s center for law and punishment. The golden hued building stands mere feet from the palace and is utilized for the announcement of laws and the trials of condemned criminals. During court processions, the citizens flood the amphitheater, hoping to witness the demise of notorious fiends.

In contrast to popular opinion, the headquarters for mercenaries remains located on the outskirts of Chrysós, near the gate to Piros; however, the quaint building resembles the locales found in Piros and besmears the reputation of the golden city. Regardless of those qualities, mercenaries and freelance guides flock to the tavern, hoping to obtain jobs and looking for a good cup of rum.

As the center of Raduga, Chrysós is heralded as the image of the kingdom; moreover, it can be seen as the bridge between the cities of Raduga. Citizens travel through the golden city in order to transition between Lilla, Ble, and Piros. Due to the heavy foot traffic, the city has several gates that connect it to guarded roads—lanes with walls on either side, and in the southern portion of the city wall, a majestic gate grants people access to the Shadows.
