Alexander could hardly believe how surprisingly lucky he had been to find the Silver King on his first trip through the blue city of Ble. It had been how many centuries that he had waited for her to awaken, and then how many weeks he had expected for it to take for her to be located? Apparently fate had a sense of humor, for she had been practically waiting at the docks. Now that he had assured himself of the existence of the current Silver King, Alexander could permit himself to simply relax and enjoy his time in his homeland of Raduga. Heaven already knew that he would hardly ever leave it again except for to go on expeditions or official errands for his King. No, he had spent far too much time away from home, and now was going to finally set up a permanent base of operations for himself somewhere within the country. For the moment however, he resided in a tavern and frequented other taverns quite often. His favorite establishments to find entertainment of course being in the notorious purple city of Lilla, though this was no surprise considering the fact that Lilla held everyone's favorite taverns and similar places of entertainment. Alexander was himself currently striding into the Maverick's Tavern, perhaps the most well known of all establishments of its type. He required celebratory ale, and this was most definitely the first place that had come to his mind in pursuit of the elusive drink. He had not brought Dusk with him this time, storing it in a well-hidden area within his bedroom. There was no particular need to carry a sword everywhere he went, though Alexander did still carry quite a few throwing knives as a precaution. He was quite relaxed now that he was back home, but he was no fool. Taking a seat at the bar of Maverick's Tavern, Alexander simply requested an ale and waited for his poison to arrive. ▲ for a surprise visit!

we all hide behind masks T’was one of those days Luci couldnt ignore the ongoing urge to update his information database. A lot happened around the vast land of Raduga. You could say the days he spent as Arthur’s part time spy stuck with him for centuries to come. He still had it, still going through within his vices that the young man found it hard to shake off the few things that reminded him of the man.
Akin to trying to toss away a favorite record gathering dust at the bottom of the moving boxes. Luci felt exactly the same. Daylight burn brightly in the city of Lilla, night usually was meant the start of some of the more... ‘shadier’ places around the infamous town. But it matter not to the red headed immortal.
He came for information, what better way to gather such intel but to go to the source itself? That was always his philosophy when it came to life itself. Look underneath the underneath, a wise saying a friend used to utter before...
He tried blocking the rest of the sentence before it got the chance to click in his brain. The past still haunted him, he thought he didn’t make the fact obvious for the world to read through his seemingly cheerful façade. Everyone had their mask, he was no different to a regular stranger trying to bury their skeletons far away from their sanity. Booze definitely filtered the air before he could parted those doors into a place known only as ‘Maverick’s Tavern’ how he wished he didn’t treat this as a business endeavor. He still did though, was it from the horrid stench of alcohol steadily burning a hole on his nostrils? He crinkled his nose in distaste, further questioning why the regular man enjoyed this poison. Perhaps, it was that age old question Lucille gave up in ever figuring out. From his days in the army towards this endless existence he has yet to figure out that ancient mystery.
Forested colored orbs took the time to survey his surroundings lights blared heavily inside the stuffy roam, drenched in the putrid stench of alcohol and the overbearing sweat of man chatting wildly on the tables, clanking of mugs while they shared their drunken tales. How in heavens name did he ever thought off going here for information... well the answer already stood before his eyes. All he really needed to do was look at it at the same light at the others. No one took noticed of the red headed man coming in. To the rest he was a mere shadow meant to vanish into the nearest crowd.
The bartender nodded slightly, acknowledging his presence by a mere gesture asking if he wanted a shot. He politely nodded, though not really keen being near the reason for why his stomach turns sour. He had to meld into the crowd. Luci repeated inwardly as a mantra of sorts reminding him of his current venture. “One shot of ale Sarge, pure don’t dilute the bloody thing.” Luci held a grin in place, taking seat close to a dark skinned man he now noticed he gave a small gesture of a greeting. He didn’t turn his head, to look other than the fleeting glance before he seated himself. But... he couldn’t help but think, acknowledging the strange welling feeling of dejavu that for some odd reason he should know this man. Nah... he chalked it off as a result of him dwelling too much on the past.

r w The bartender was not long gone before another came to sit nearby to Alexander, specifically right next to him. In most cases, he might not have noticed, considering the fact that in taverns people happened to like to sit when they drink. A few things caused him to turn his head a few moments after the bartender went to go fill up the ale mugs. Firstly, the person next to him had red hair, something not entirely common in Raduga to begin with. Though not as uncommon as silver hair such as Alexander's, it might still have been worth a glance by itself. It would not however, have been worth Alexander's reaction of frowning as a feeling of deja vu scratched at his brain when the person sitting next to him ordered his ale. This feeling was the secondary cause of him turning about slightly to look at the person sitting next to him, curious as to whether he knew them from somewhere or somewhen. When Alexander had seen Aurora awake for the first time in centuries, he had given her a bear hug that had popped something in the area of her spinal cord in the same manner that someone popped the little bones present in the fingers. When he saw Lucille, he simply sat in his chair with his jaw dropped open slightly while his mind took its sweet time reloading. Could he possibly be so lucky as to find the Silver King and his brother Clansman not only within similar periods of time, but without even looking for them? Shifting his head slightly to get a better look, Alexander confirmed that this was in fact Lucille sitting next to him. The last time he had seen the man, he had been quite unconscious, very much similarly to Rayne herself. In which case, to see him up and about merited a very similar response to having seen the Silver King up and about. With that in mind, Alexander tapped Lucille on the shoulder and cleared his throat simultaneously, which was the only warning his fellow Clansman would receive before the Silver Knight picked him up out of his chair and gripped him like a human vice. "Lucille!" Alexander said with enthusiasm as he started to feel the spinal column pops that often came with his back-breaking bear hugs. "Andjustwherehaveyoubeenyouredhairedbastard?!" Were there going to be stares from this little event? Of course. Did Alexander particularly care at the moment? Of course not. ▲ for a surprise visit!

we all hide behind masks Dear sweet gods, Lucille wondered if it was time to return to his beliefs in gods or further remain in his atheist insight. For years he hadn’t thought about that even as his life shifted along with the tide of the moon did the thought cross the vestiges of his mind. Until now, a few of the patrons stopped from their merriment for a passing brief few seconds as they swerved their glances over at the two much to their curiosity of the sudden outburst from the infamous dark skinned man whom by now graced the bounty hunter’s history as one of the more ruthless bunch.
Not that Lucille knew about that tidbit he had been far too out of reach when it comes to the current here says just as he choose to remain disconnected to the going ons in the empire. After the fall of the silver clan he found no such desire to get suck into the political circle. His family’s name be damned... he hadn’t used it for the last hundred years unless by some passing miracle he needed a random last name. Other than that, Lucille gladly let his history die along with the war and vicious end of the Lucienta’s.
Now if only he finds out just who were the bastards who instigated it... he would damn love to show him just how he feels about it. Still as those thoughts progressed so did the guilt that came with it. For years he let himself get eaten by it. Arthur would not approve he knew but to him it was his indirect fault he died and he would have it no other way. His thoughts sunk him further into his dark abyss his saving light, came from the tap that broke him out of his dark centered thoughts. The young man uttered a blink, his lashes fluttered across his green orbs as he turned towards that person. He half thought it was one of those drunks again mistaking him for a woman. God he lost how many times he smashed his fist into their faces for that comment. Here he thought they learned already, oh well you cant teach an old dog new tricks. The saying apparently applied the same logic towards today’s residence. “I’m telling you—“ He began but stopped after his mind took its sweet time registering just who the hell tapped him. “Yes?...” He asked, the wheels on his head began turning as it processed through the centuries worth of memories in under a split second time. By no means was no easy task even for his brain as he started feeling the familiar call of a migraine budding from the left side of his temple.
He should remember him, hearing him clear his throat should have given him ample time to remember and maybe run out of there if he knew just what the man planned to do. Sadly, he didn’t get to do those things as the next thing he knew he’s being lifted clean off his chair and into the strong crab-like vice of the dark skinned man. The boy yelped, squirming to get away as certain pops came from his spine. If he didn’t know any better he might have to check in case of a fracture. Brilliant more healing... he nearly groaned at the thought as his mind furthered tried to figure out this puzzle.
He knew him, Lucille stiffened under the man’s grip. No one has ever called him that in the last decade so for him to know that... Lucile squinted his eyes at the man. His brain was in no hurry to tell him it figured out who this man was. Then it clicked, on his head. “A-Alex?...” The sound of glass clinging as it collided with the bar signaled the return of the bartender whom watched in silent mirth at the scene. “I’m guessing you knew this man eh you red headed brat?” He flashed a grin before returning back to wiping clean the mugs.
Lucille casted him a brief look of annoyance before returning to Alex, “Alex... Glad to see you too, but don’t break my back dammit!”
