LAFAYEL IDLIPoor Luffy is going to have such deep trust issues if he ever gets out of the Colorless Clan's clutches 8') When I get to writing you up a post after this monster of a character history, would you like it to be the first day they meet or after a few days of Luffy staying as a guest? 8u SANIBELLE GREENWOODYesssss, I imagine if Dez ever visited her shop in Zold, he'd somehow find his way under a pile of furs and just be like "I would like all of these please, yes" when she finds him. He's a dork, srsly. But he'd also really appreciate being appreciated... or at least not being viewed as some sort of rabid mutt. Most people aren't too kind to strains, so Sani's niceness would be kind of refreshing. I imagine he'd enjoy just watching her work if she let him. He'd absolutely defend her if he spotted some men pestering her in Lilla, though. But I imagine he'd have a moment of "ohmygosh you didn't change professions, did you? Did I just scare away your business? I didn't know I'm so sorry" ;A; SO YEAH, all-in-all, definitely an interesting pair for sure :'D

Dez enjoyed when the temperature dropped since it gave him excuse to wrap himself in warm skins and furs. There wasn't anything quite like being able to walk around while enveloped in another body. It put Dez in an exceptionally good mood and gave him a comforting sense of safety. Truthfully, the relationship between Desmond and furs was similar to the kind which develops between a small child and their favorite blanket.
Someone who he viewed as an older brother was supposed to be coming to the city within the next few days, thus Dez had begun to distance himself from his work at the brothel so that he would have more time to prepare for his arrival.
At this particular moment, he didn't have anything specific he needed to do, so he decided to walk through the famed gardens of Lilla. They were mostly abandoned at this time of year since the majority of the flowers had wilted from the chill. The whole place held an aura of silent, stagnant death, but that was quite beautiful in Dez's eyes.
Crouching by the edge of the path, he brushed his fingers over the dead foliage, dried and crinkled like old parchment. What must their death feel like, he wondered. Was it quick and dynamic, veiled by its unmoving form, or did their bodies falter piece by piece? The youngest of the Colorless Clan lost himself in thought as he crumbled the remains of a leaf between his fingers.

Just don't try to run away, Luffy, that would be tragic 8') Ahem, ANYWAY, Luffy probably just knows of Dez (if he's paying attention at all) as someone who sometimes sells Syn information, so yes yes, he doesn't need to know his colorless ties yet /o/ YET... we'll get to that when we get to it. But in the meantime, Dez would make Luffy his mandatory guest and, since he's an adorable little cat strain, pet him lots and protect him from the brothel patrons who mistake him for someone who works there. AND, since Luffy's a strain, he might even get some bits of unsweetened honesty out of Dez, wooooow 8u

It had been a long, long while since Desmond had last stepped foot in Piros. Truth be told, the city hadn't changed much. There was surely plenty of activity going on in the alleys and behind closed doors, but the untouched, decrepit buildings had somehow persevered, like ancient statues from a former time. Their familiar image rekindled plenty of old memories.
The reason for this visit was, of course, business. What other reason would he have to come to this crumbling, crime-ridden corner of the kingdom? Unfortunately, the trip wasn't turning out to be overwhelmingly informative, nor, since information was the nature of the business, overwhelmingly profitable. He really needed to find rats who were less skittish to whisper secrets in his ears... or perhaps just harsher incentives to entice them to remain reliable.
A silent snow began to flutter to the ground.
There weren't many others in the streets due to the cold, and even he was considering finding a place to stay despite the thick, dark cloak enveloping his body. But for now, while the fleeting warmth lasted, he wished to explore the quiet streets.
But what was this? A sound, a feeling... his eyes widened as he hurried towards the source, just in time to see the body fall. He just watched for a few moments, so fixated on the fallen person that he was unable to produce words for their murderer. When their life left this world, the mere sensation caused his own body to quiver in excitement. It was beautiful. Too beautiful for words.
"My lord," he spoke in a tone which was nearly a whisper, "Truly... you are an artist of the highest quality."
Perhaps this trip wasn't a complete waste after all.

ALESKEI VITALI clearly obviously needs Desmond in his life, even if he doesn't want him there 8') SO, Dez is in the Colorless Clan, which I get that Ales isn't really a fan of, BUT Dez is also (rather obviously simply by his appearance) a strain, and I hear Aleksai's a little more keen towards them. And also if he's a fan of one night stands, Dez is a courtesan, so there's also that 8| Bam, hit the friends, enemies, and lovers sections all in one go. A n y w a y. To be 100% honest, Dez is probably more interested in Ales wolf rather than Ales himself. He likes animals way too much, ok. Basically whenever he knows he'll be seeing Ales, Dez will give him meat or bones for Nuka, and not once has these gifts been poisoned or damaging in any way. He will try to spoil her even if she hates his guts *^* Of course that doesn't mean that he has 0 interest in Ales, either. Dez is rather obedient towards non-strains, but I'm sure he'd be curious enough about the new Colorless Clan member to find excuses to respectfully ignore any of Ales' commands to go away. He can be obnoxious like that. Best get used to it. TL;DR version: Dez thinks Nuka is the best thing and is pretty okay with Ales since he's her keeper.

Strange things happened at the Saint's Pleasure somewhat regularly. It came with the territory. So, it wasn't particularly unusual to see a lady wearing nothing but a pair of men's trousers or a gentleman having himself a merry time adorned in a woman's dress. What made the sight before Dez's eyes truly unusual was the identity of the individual wearing that rather suggestive outfit. The massive ears were a dead giveaway.
Starling was in a dress.

Well that didn't make any sense.
Dez just watched quietly for a few moments, brows furrowed and head tilted slightly. Considering where he was, he was half convinced that this was some sort of illusion, though Starling's expression indicated otherwise... unless that, too, was an illusion.
But simply wondering wasn't going to get him anywhere, so he walked over to the two "ladies", glancing over the foxlike strain with his unnatural gaze before bowing gently to the beauty beside him. "My lady," he addressed politely with a thick tribal accent, only used when speaking around potential clients, "This..." he motioned vaguely to Starling, "You did this? Very lovely." The softness of his words didn't seem to match his towering stature, but at least his voice wouldn't broadcast the blacksmith's predicament to those who hadn't already recognized those massive ears of his.
"What is the occasion," Dez glanced curiously at Starling with a teasing smile playing at his lips, "A gift for Hessat..?"
