"Maverick"

Ignatius' main choice of a weapon is a rather long and broad bladed sword he has dubbed Maverick. It's more intricate than it appears but requires closer inspection to tell such but that's for a different time. It's not as big, or cumbersome, as a Greatsword but it's similar. So it's mainly used for those slow, heavy hits to fell monsters. If he tried hard enough, Iggy could swing it slightly faster. When Rebel is removed, the weapon becomes slightly lighter but also loses one half of its edge.

"Rebel"

The aforementioned intricacies is actually a secondary weapon added into Maverick. Slide a covering out of the way and Rebel can be detached from the main weapon and be used itself. Rebel is a smaller blade, only in comparison to Maverick, wherein Rebel is slimmer. Its length is slightly shorter too and the hilt is actually built into the blade, so the blade itself also serves as a handguard. Being lighter, Ignatius can make faster, more precise swings but at the cost of serious damage.

turpentine vials

Various small vials of turpentine are hidden and carried on his person. He usually throws them at a target to cover them in it which then acts as an accelerant for his fire if hits them with it. Thus the fire burns hotter and longer.

medical kit

A kit filled with basic medicinal items to treat minor injuries and wounds. Though he has little to no medical knowledge, as he's a fighter not a surgeon, the gist of it is easy enough to grasp and be of use to him.

ignition

Aggression, anger and such fuels his aura and ignites whenever he experiences it. It's the way Ignatius manifests his aura and holds it as a raging flame around his body. The stronger his emotions, the hotter the heat that radiates and the bigger the blaze. He can choose to keep his aura suppressed so not to accidentally Ignite when in a pointless brawl or losing his cool, as it were.

With the right amount of concentration, Ignatius can Ignite different parts of his body such as a fist or a leg but it's easier for a full body manifestation. Needless to say he has a really high resistance to fire and heat, more so when surrounded by his own fiery aura.

afterburner

The unique twist to his Aura Manifestation is that of an afterburn. It can be used before Igniting for more subtle flames but is most effective after Ignition as he has more fiery aura to work with. Afterburner comes into effect during motion, using the kinetic energy as fuel. An example would be him swinging a punch and the flame manifesting alongside his fist and the short path it traveled. The faster the motion, the more kinetic force accumulating/ed, the stronger the flame. It even extends to usage of his swords.

As such, if motion doesn't cease for more than a second, the kinetic energy can be built up, like momentum, and grow stronger. One example would be a flurry of sword movements, seemingly unending and thus more fire which would make a finisher move that much more deadlier.

In the event he has Ignited, the afterburns will be bigger, brighter and hotter by default. The kinetic energy he builds up during motion will make them more pronounced like normal, but now on a higher scale.

rapier

While his build may mislead people into thinking that he's a pushover, Islwyn's actually very adept at swordplay. More often than not he carries his favorite silver-hilted rapier with him.

dirks

A pair of ivory-hilted dirks, which he usually wears in leather sheaths concealed underneath his clothing. They're his preferred weapon in close quarters or when he can't access his rapier.

vial necklace

A tiny glass vial on a sturdy silver chain to be worn as a necklace. The vial is filled with a curious crimson substance.

leather knapsack

A small leather bag that holds a variety of small items and supplies. Mostly a canteen for a water, and a handful of small, corked bottles, that could hold potions or possibly other...questionable...liquids.

emotional transference

While holding an item in one hand, and touching an individual with the other, Islwyn can use himself as a sort of conduit for the experience of whatever emotional history may be trapped in the item. Happiness, sadness, excitement, agony -- so long as it's an item that has some sort of deep history associated with it, the emotion can be transferred to the victim.

Islwyn most often uses this with his favored dirk, to allow his victims to experience the "love" he has had for his previous 'playmates' as well as savor the compounded terror of all the previous people he has bled.

Naturally this requires physical contact with both the item in question and the victim, as well as some active concentration.

minor telepathy

Utilizing the colorless' clans natural ability and their skill in bending their aura, Islwyn is able to read the surface thoughts of an individual. This is a minor feat and is limited to the basic emotions and thoughts that a person is experiencing at the time. This ability cannot be used long range as it requires physical contact with the victim/subject.

cane-sword

His primary weapon seems like nothing more than a gaudy accessory to a man who lives a lavish lifestyle. The cane itself is made out of the finest wood that money can buy and is intricately etched with a floral pattern. A rather benign tool which hides a sinister steel blade, the top of the cane serving as the hilt. It should be noted that Giovanni possesses a number of these canes as using a single pattern would be rather dull.

ledger

He keeps a small ledger on his person at all times. This ledger holds a variety of names, details, and numbers that are relevant to Giovanni. It is said that the contents of this ledger could bring down many powerful people if the details came to light.

alter reality

Giovanni does not actually possess the power to alter reality but rather to alter a person's perception of it which can often amount to the same thing. He is the ultimate master of illusions. The Purple King can bring your greatest fears to life or could show you a land of inexplicable pleasure. Illusions are only as good as the mind that creates them and Giovanni's illusions are extremely detailed. It takes a sharp mind to realize what they are seeing isn't real and even then that does not completely free them. Those with unyielding willpower, namely other Kings, give him the most trouble.

Members of the Purple Clan are only allowed to affect a single person at a time with their given auras but as the King, Giovanni is the exception to this rule. He can hardly extend his illusions to alter the perspective of an entire city but neither is he useless in the face of multiple opponents. Of course the stronger the opponent, the less effective his illusions become if they are forced onto more than one person.

aura of fear

One could say that this skill is a manifestation of the pure evil which resides within Giovanni. All his experiences and desires as well as how others perceive him. It is a skill that is a combination of manipulating his aura and his illusory abilities. This skill alters his aura from something vague to pure darkness. It is as if the cloak of spectre settles about him, and one is looking into the eyes of Death itself. Those without significant mental fortitude will find themselves as nothing more than drooling husk, fear completely removing their faculties. Those of a stronger mind will feel hesitation and doubt. It will be as if a huge weight is threatening to crush them. Giovanni rarely uses this skill because it is extremely taxing and also acts as a beacon to those who would seek to track him.
