It is March 16th 3019 of the Third Age. The War of the Ring is at its peak. The battle on the Pelennor has just been fought. Both Lothlorien and Mirkwood have been attacked, and the battle of Dale is in full swing.
Now the unthinkable happened. Frodo and Sam fail in their quest to destroy the one ring. It is lost in Mordor, and the two Hobbits have no choice but to turn back.
