Another wedding. Sanibelle was quite exhausted, but there was nothing she could do about it. Surprisingly she was a guest which was weird for. The young woman always made the wedding dress, and after that, she never saw the bride until after the ceremony by a few weeks. This time, it was a family friend’s daughter who was getting married, and she had invited the young blonde so she could show everyone who the wonderful seamstress was. To be quite honest, Sanibelle was nervous about the whole ordeal. She had never been to a wedding before. She was always in the back ground making dresses and drapes.
The wedding itself was a week away and Sanibelle was struggling to find the perfect gift. She figured something simple like flowers. Sanibelle herself was a pretty good flower arranger and did it as a hobby. She also knew the perfect flowers to use, but all she needed was a vase. Sanibelle was a simple girl herself, but the girl who was getting was not which made finding a vase a little difficult. The flowers that were picked for the arrangement were white roses, cowslip, chamomile, and yellow fox gloves. Sanibelle chose the flowers that fit the bride’s wedding dress so there was at least a connection. Her plan was to tie a yellow bow around the vase, but that would all change if the vase was elaborate.
Sanibelle told herself that the vase could be a little expensive, but like most people in her status, she wasn’t made out of gems. If the vase was perfect, she’d see if she could make the gems stretch, but she wouldn’t get her hopes up. Pale hands wrapped up some of the flowers she was going to use in a cloth to use them as a reference. It would making the finding of the vase a lot easier without a huge disappointment.
She placed the wrapped up flowers in a big wicker basket. Sanibelle grabbed a cloak and patted down her skirt before heading out. Living in Zöld, there were a lot of places to get vases and other such décor items. It was a city full of artists, inventors, writer, poets and what not. If someone couldn’t find something here that they wanted, they most likely weren’t searching hard enough.
Leather covered feet walked on the paths through the Avenue, on occasion poking through some shops. There were definitely contenders, but she wanted to check out as many stores as possible. Some people hated options, but Sanibelle preferred options. She’s lived in the city for 20 years so she knew that there were wonderful things hidden within the Avenue.
Amethyst eyes noticed a shop in the corner of her eye that she’s seen before but never been in. Seeing that she’s never explored it before, she figured why not now? From the windows, the shop looked like there was a lot interesting items. Sanibelle walked her tall lean figure through the door and she glanced around. Amethyst orbs glanced over the many shelves and displays of antiques. Feeling a bit adventurous, she walked over to a shelf full of vases. She reached into her basket and pulled out the flower bunch. The flowers were placed next to some vases, her eyes squinting a bit to get a feel. Being so indulged in what she was doing, she didn’t notice a figure approaching her.
