GEMS: THE CURRENCY
On Keys to the Kingdom and in Raduga, all transactions are accomplished by using gems. To have a clear picture of just how much a gem is valued: one kilogram of white rice is equivalent to six gems. Gems have been the world's currency for decades, and nobody knows who or when it started. Apart from various occupations and business transactions, a Radugan can obtain gems by performing quests such as escorting people to through the Shadows and hunting lurkers. Gems collected can be spent in the Ravenstouch shop.
HOW TO GAIN GEMS?
+150  | CREATING A CHARACTER The moment you post an application in the In Progress board and in Notification thread, you will be given the stated amount of gems as a welcome gift to Keys to the Kingdom. |
+50 | THREADS AND POSTS For every thread you make and post you make on the site within the Continent of Raduga and Ocean of Sev, you will receive the stated amount of gems. |
+30 | PLOT PAGES AND WANTED ADS Within the plotting area, you will receive the stated amount of gems, and you receive the same amount for creating threads and replying to threads. Please plot extensively and cause drama throughout the Raduga Kingdom. |
+05 | MEMBER'S LOUNGE The Member's Lounge is where players can relax and chat with one another. You can play games, say hi to new members, or even leave a goodbye kiss before setting off on vacation. Every little thing you do in the lounge will be rewarded with a small amount of gems. |
>100 | QUESTING Minimum amount of a 100 gems is guaranteed for every quest you complete. Why minimum? Because different missions may offer varying amounts of gems as the reward, AND if you are lucky, some lurkers will drop crystals, which you can trade for gems! |
VARIED | EVENTS Everyone loves events because the prizes offered are random, and we can't really say whether you will receive gems or free items. It is a mystery! |
