So I put my faith in something unknown I'm living on such sweet nothing But I'm tired of hope with nothing to hold I'm living on such
sweet nothing
Get a dress he says, she already has one... a clearly displeased young woman strolled the streets of one the most economically versed cities in Raduga, large curious eyes soaked in the scenery, imprinting the various opened stores selling merchandises only found in this part of the kingdom. In all honesty Zöld was the second place on her list in terms of ‘dress’ shopping as her beloved older brother puts it.
Why he sent her remains to be a mystery to the young female since, last time Anise checked she’s perfectly capable in sewing her own ensemble. Could it be, she paused in her steps as the thought began to cloud her mind. Could he be picking up on that other secret of hers? She shuddered, pushing the thought away to the back of her mind the young woman forced her feet to move. There was no way... he could have when she made sure no one caught wind of it. If he did Lucifer would have told her. She argued with herself, ignoring the bright light bellowing from the skies, blue skies stretched upon the blue canvas dotted with wisp of misty white clouds moving in an endless stream up in the heavens. That acted as a make shift hiding place for the sun whom was picking up on the demure natured of its counterpart.
Today was a busy day in town, shoppers lined the streets as workers worked for their daily wages her ears burned with their endless chatter as she tried to block most of it out as she lifted her hand in it, she held a small piece of paper her brother handed to her. He made arrangements for her to visit a local shop in the area after he caught wind of its popularity with the more higher class citizenry of the kingdom. She scoffed sighing as she massaged the growing migraine making its home on her temple.
Brilliant... now her mind swayed over to the paperwork she’s imagining laying on her desk while Ryune is driven crazy with his stack. Just the normal day in her life whenever she stays home to fulfill her duties. Gene’s offer on that escapade was beginning to look mighty tempting for the young female. It’ll get her away from the rest of the hassle in her daily life, the young cherry head sighed once more, veering her head from left to right in hopes of locating the blasted shop. They said it was here near the central plaza, she pondered if she made a wrong turn towards the fifth road, when her eyes caught a few kids selling flowers towards the passing plebeians. She stopped in her thoughts momentarily as one of the kid’s approached her. A boy with mousy flat brown hair a common coloration here in Raduga. “Flowers lady?” He asked, innocent orbs looked hopeful at the woman as a potential first customer.
This wasn’t part of her quota, but... Inside that rock solid heart of hers, she couldn’t resist, her eyes softened a little, blues shone softly in the hue of the mid-noon sun. “Hmm... Sure those lilies look nice.” She murmured, earning the brightened look of the young boy as she dug through her money pouch, counting out five gems and extra four as a tip to the lad as she landed it to him. “Here, the four is an extra for being cute.” She winked, taking the offered flower as the boy blushed red. “Thanks lady!” He chirped, running off to deeper into the crowd. She stayed there looking at his vanishing figure with a small shake of her head. Kids these days, just never seem to wait for anything---
The thought froze in her mind when one attempted to poke at her inner thoughts. She could have asked him where that shop was. Her palm connected rapidly with her forehead. “Dammit...” Swore the young female as she resigned to her fate in looking for that dress boutique.
