Liyana's saying was ultimate. She could not say 'no' or 'but' to the older woman, who seemed more like mother than a guardian. She did not look any older than Rayne, but the Lilla residents rumored her to have lived in the city for decades. Being a strain must be hard for her, or so she thought. It seemed after decades staying in the purple clan land, Liyana earned trophies of respects and solitude- not that she needed them, she said. But the again, those things do come in handy especially with her status being a strain with rare power to foresee future and predict someone's desire in life. Liyana told her to go back home now. Rayne was not quite sure of what she heard and asked her why, only to receive a hand-fan smack on her head. She groaned and rubbed her head while her eyes angrily stared at the female strain. The smack may sound loud and painful, but for a silvery like her, it meant nothing. It was just like strong wind hit her. Liyana did not say anything and simply walked away from her. The young girl pouted. She was unhappy about this, but regardless, she has to obey. There must be a reason for her to have to go back right now. She opened the shop door, causing small bells attached at the top of the wood to jiggle, and headed out. Her eyes looked up at the sky, mesmerized by small white clouds that rowed along the sea-like sky. She inhaled as deep as she could and exhaled. Fresh! Walking distance from the tarot reading shop and their house took only couple of minutes, but she often took a detour- visited a local shop for a small box of prawn balls, stopped by the shrine and then, finally, headed the right way back to home. Well, Liyana's home. She was not sure if that was her home sweet home to. She remembered her home and it was destroyed long time ago. She pushed a small prawn ball into a mouth, making her cheeks looked like an expanded balloon. Her eyes observed the surrounding, trying to get some feeling of nostalgic to be walking back to the small house she lived, but there was nothing. She sat down in front of the house entrance. Liyana said she should try and find her clansmen. What will happen after she finds them? No- what will they do if they found out the new king was a girl? She would not want to disappoint her brother! But now she felt disappointed of herself. She muttered, "I wish I was a boy..." She scooped another prawn ball into her mouth and chewed.

| | A walk through Sleeper's Avenue had become somewhat of a habit for the Purple King. He had found that it was easier to think without all the bustle of Heaven's Embrace. Giovanni also had to be much less wary when he traveled through this part of the city. Heaven's Embrace was crowded with all types from rich merchants to assassins, the latter often working for him. Unfortunately for reasons he couldn't understand, there were also people out there who wanted him dead. A true shame that that they couldn't enjoy the city's pleasure. Then again, one could say that death was the ultimate pleasure. It was rare for the Purple King to kill anyone with his own hands but when he did it was pure ecstasy. Thus he tended to restrain himself so he could maintain the novelty of that nearly inexplicable feeling.
He shuddered involuntarily at the thought of snuffing the life out of the next person who walked past him. No, he could not indulge in such whimsies despite his desires. Giovanni was a man who never did things in such a direct manner. There was simply no fun in that. His powers weren't geared towards overt destruction like some of the other kings but he possessed more than enough power to end a number of lives should he so choose. That would be too easy and beneath someone has clever as himself. There was also the added fact that it would probably bring the rest of the other clans crashing down on his head in an act of apparent self-righteousness.
Giovanni was momentarily annoyed at the mere thought of such a thing happening but then a voice caught his attention. He wasn't sure why this particular voice had caused him to pause but he stopped anyways. The Purple King turned to see where the voice had originated from and then his gaze landed on the dark-haired woman who was sitting at the entrance of what he assumed was her home. Requiring some form of distraction, he decided to approach her.
"I'm sure that can be arranged," remarked Giovanni in a tone that was as pleasing to hear as it was dangerous. "Lilla is a city that can accommodate anyone's desires even if only for a night."
His appearance would have no doubt been somewhat surprising to the woman. Giovanni's purple hair and deep-crimson eyes made for quite the sight. He was currently wearing dark-purple robes in the fashion that was common to Lilla. The top of his finely crafted cane rested in the palm of his right hand. One could say that he stood out in this particular area of the city but it wasn't unheard of for the wealthy to visit due to curiosity. After all this area was home to many talented minstrels and artists. Giovanni had made use of their talents more than a few times. A king should have a few songs and poems written about him, it was only natural.
"I coul-" he began to say but then suddenly stopped. The Purple King studied the woman before him as if seeing her for a second time. She had an air of familiarity about her but Giovanni could tell why. His eyes narrowed dangerously, he was not fond of things he couldn't understand. The killing intent disappeared as quickly as it had arrived, remaining for but a fleeting moment.
"I could point you in the right direction if you so wish," continued Giovanni as though nothing had happened.

She was busy depressing herself with something she could not undo or deny- that was about her being born as a woman and not a man. She tried to define the reasons she should be a man rather than a woman and one of the reasons was because she was the Silver king and a KING should be man, not woman. She pouted, chewing the last bit of the prawn ball in her mouth before she swallowed it. "I'm sure that can be arranged," A voice interrupted her thoughts and snatched her conscious back to reality. She was startled by it and almost jumped on her seat on the floor outside her house. She did shout a bit because she was so into her mind that a simple 'hello' might even spook her. She immediately got up and bowed a bit, it was a habit of her to do so. She did not notice him to be any different than any other passersby in the area, despite he has a fancy-looking can in his hand. Cane brings different perceptions about the person who owns it. It could be the person suffers incapability to walk properly and in need for support, which by the way did not seem to be the reason for this man to carry it, or it could be a symbol of power and status since only wealthy and nobles could own canes like that. She blinked, bowed again as he man continued to speak. Uh, wait. Hold on there! She brought her head up and tried to hold a confused smirk from appear on her face. "Lilla is a city that can accommodate anyone's desires even if only for a night." She tried to assemble some senses here. Firstly, she was thinking about her better be born as a man. Next, out of nowhere, this man showed up and say 'that' can be arranged. Then, he said Lilla, which is this city, can 'accommodate anyone's desire'. Rayne totally burst and took a step back with her hands waving denied. "I-I-I am sorry, sir but-! I was just- I was just- is it about what I said to myself? Because.. OH BOY, forgive one's mind from wondering about matters she should have not!" She started rambling in panic. If this man was going to make 'that' thought of her into reality, Liyana will slaughter her! Why? Because it was her own fault for having such idea! The man was simply offering an opportunity for it to come true. ... But can he? How? That very moment, her instinct tingled, like electricity flowed through her nerves. Her eyes immediately looked at the man, who too was looking at her. The way he looked at her, though, was seriously creepy and unsettling. She tilted her head bit to the side, almost having her cheek touched the shoulder, as she watched his eyes glaring. Somewhere in her heart said he suspected something, and he was not just anybody himself. She has been in Lilla for four years now, though most of her time she traveled here and there as requested by Liyana. She barely knew who was in charge of this city, specifically the purple clan's king. Liyana might knew him, but all she ever said was get away from him. Get away from ALL kings, in fact. Rayne tilted her head to another side, blinking with a small unsecured smile. "If I do follow you... you are not going to... turn me into an actual man, are you?" she asked, wanting to take his words as a joke but somehow she felt he was being serious about it. She gulped a bit.
