Grass Hill - 6pm The sun began to set over the horizon of the city of Zold. Many people were heading into their homes to start making dinner and settle down with their families. Her family had left Sanibelle to be on her own as they visited the Ederson family. Mrs. Ederson was still very ill and her body was continuing to degrade. Sanibelle felt horrid that she couldn’t be there, but due to the fact of being frail already, her immune system wouldn’t be able to handle anything that Mrs. Ederson could possibly pass on. The young woman decided to take a walk to the docks like she liked to do daily. Pale hands grabbed a lantern for her walk back and a small basket filled with meat, cheese, bread and water. Her leather pouch lay across her body and her small knife sit nicely at the waistband of her floor length brown cotton skirt. The evening was surprisingly warm for the cold months, but she wore her green velvet cloak in case it got chilly. Her hair was back in braids and messy from a full day of work. Sanibelle herself was actually looking forward to a night alone. She’d be able to watch the sunset from the abandoned docks and admire the different plant life that began to overgrow like rhubarb, high noon peonies, and love hearts dicentra. Sanibelle always loved flowers and plants ever since her aunt taught her all about them. During the season changes, that’s what she really looked forward to. She loved seeing what the docks grew and also what the local florist found and bought from the outer cities. Even though the docks were abandoned by most, Sanibelle still loved venturing to them. They were eerie and beautiful in the morning, but at night, it was full of life with the moon blooming flowers in the spring and summer and some wildlife like deer roamed around there nibbling on the wild bushes. It was truly a shame that they weren’t used, but all the shipments came from land via Lilla, Ble and Chrysos. Even though the docks weren’t safe, Sanibelle mainly stayed at the entrance. She never dared to cross over the wooden fence. There was a nice hill that she usually sat at and watched the sunsets when she could. After locking the door behind her, Sanibelle headed toward the grassy hill that overlooked the water and broken docks. When she finally reached her favorite area, she removed her cloak and laid it down as a blanket. Sanibelle sat on her cloak, lit one out 20 small candles that fit on her lantern and opened her basket with her dinner. She placed some cheese and sliced meat on a slice of bread as her Amethyst eyes glanced over the horizon that bled with pinks, oranges, reds, purples and blues. A soft and warm breeze rustled through the grass and the overgrown vines that were beginning to eat the wooden fence. Before she was going to eat another bite, she noticed a huge rustle in some brush. A sudden chill ran through her body as the sunset dimmed down to complete darkness. “H-H-H-Hello...Who’s there…?” The flame on the candle flickered casting shadows deep on her body. Sanibelle’s hand reached for her small pocket knife. Never had she been so afraid sitting here. Tonight was different. Coldness seemed to wrap around her like a suffocating fog. Her heart beat heavily, reverberating in her ribs as she dare not to move a single muscle. Linnaeus had pulled into port about a day ago and was making plans to return to Ble once his business was finished in Zold. Rather then stay in the local end, much like Raz would of told him too, he packed his bags and checked out early. He did not wish to stay indoors on this fine night and to be honest, camping at the docks sound far more pleasent. He could be alone, not hear the squibbles of the locals, and watch the stars over head. It would be the best way to end his trip to Zold. He had no trouble in finding an empty shed at the docks to make his camp. After he sat up a comfortable bed the Blue King made his way down the wooden planks and out onto the grass. With no real plan in mind he as merely exploring the area. Prehaps, he could find a nice place to watch the stars? He then remembered there happened to be a rather nice open space not to far, he just had to make it through a few bushes. That wouldn't be difficult for the large man to pull off but what he didn't expect to find at the clearing was a young woman sitting on her cloak. Linny merely tilted his head while raising a single brow at her in confusion. "Well, this is odd seeing a woman at the docks." The words came out bluntly but in a kind manner. "Shouldn't you be at home? Behind a locked door where its safe?" Linny made no motion of approaching her but merely observed her from his current position near the bushes he emerged from. A dock such as this, was no place for a finely dressed woman who so happened to decide to have dinner here by herself. Surely, she knew better then to be out late, alone, in the dark. But then again, not all women were smart and he wondered how much intelligence she had in that pretty head of hers.

”Well, this is odd seeing a woman at the docks. Shouldn’t you be at home? Behind a locked door where it’s safe?” A male’s voice said with a blunt tone. The young woman’s bows furrowed in his word choice almost talking on her for her gender. She re-lit the candle in her lantern which casted light on her frame once again. The candle light shined against her crème skin and golden locks, the shadows accentuating her natural feautures. A soft sigh escaped her lips before she spoke a response. “This isn’t my first time being alone at the docks, but of course that statement would make me look like an idiot wouldn’t it in a man’s eye? But because the sunset ended and it’s 6pm, I guess I should make my leave and hide behind a locked oak door.” A small laugh escaped her lips as she conversed with this man. Sanibelle placed her food in her basket and stood up to stretch her legs and arms. Long strands of golden locks fell down her back to her knees which fell forward when she picked up her cloak to drape it around her slender shoulders. A wind rustled through the grass and small droplets of rain began to fall. It was a little drizzle but it wasn’t too bad. Sanibelle didn’t put her hood up because she liked the feeling of the rain on her hair and it calmed her. “May I ask what you’re doing out here near the docks of Zöld? I’m going to assume you’re some intense artist, inventor, a poet or a traveler?” LINNAEUS LUPIN ❊ Hope it's workable...

Ever so slowly Linny's normal bored experssion turned into a mixture of confusion and interest. Here was a woman sitting alone, in the dark, and being awfully bold with her words. To be quite honest it down right amusing and it even brightened up his evening some what. "Hmm." How should he now go about speaking to this enchanting woman with a smart mouth. Oh, the choices he had but in the end he figured it was best to treat her just like her treats everyone else. With equal scarcasm. "I merely stated what you might do and not what you should do." With a shrug of his shoulders he moved forward and sat down upon the grass with easy. Letting out a small grunt he made himself perfectly comfortable on the hard ground. Not thinking twice about it, he with drew a pouch and a roll of paper. Opening the bag he pulled out a bit of tobacco and procided to roll himself a cigarette. "But, don't let my words hender your decisions." Licking the roll shut, the older man made use of the girls light to set the end of his stick alight. A small chuckle escaped his lips after a short puff. "Sorry to disappoint but I am none of the above nor equally as interesting as what you might hope." Oh, she was indeed the entertain sort and to make sure the conversation remained as such he shot her back her own questions. "And what of you, Lass? Are you an intense artist, inventor, poet or a traveler?" He turned his gaze upon her with interest but he figured he knew the answer all ready. She wore nothing that an artist would, no paint remains on her clothing. Her hair was in order and that ruled out the possibilities of her being an inventor. A poet, she could be that but there was no paper before her and as for a traveler, he would of laughed. She had no weapon and her shoes held little dirt upon them. She was much to clean for that kind of life.
"I'll wager your not any of those either, are you, Lass?"

Sanibelle just smiled at the man’s words to her question. Amethyst eyes watched as he approached her sanding form. She watched as the pink haired man rolled a cigarette, lit it and sat down. Seeing that he was interested in a conversation, the young woman sat back down again. ”And what of you, Lass? Are you an intense artist, inventor, poet or a traveler? I’ll wager you’re not any of those either, are you, Lass?”A small soft laugh escaped her lips as she looked over to him. “I’m an artist and traveler of sorts one could say… I’m a dressmaker in this lovely city of Zöld but I travel enough for my job to meet clients and such. Wedding season is coming up, so I’ll most likely make some intercity travels.” Her hands ran through the dampening grass as she looked straight ahead as the sound of crashing waves were heard in the distance. “I love this spot. It’s one of the highest grounds in the city. Perfect for sunsets and sunrises. Also to watch oncoming storms… You could say I’m crazy that I enjoy sitting on a hill while a thunderstorm is creeping by.” The young woman lay down, her long blonde hair covering the damp grass. The rain seemed to get heavier by a bit to a point where droplets could be seen and felt. Her dress began to get damp but not enough where she felt cold. Her eyes closed for a second, the rain falling on her pale skin, water dripping over her cheekbones. “This rain…it’s always so gentle at this time. So calming.” A pale hand wiped some damp hairs away from her face and another smile crossed her lips. “So mister mysterious,” Sanibelle turned her head towards his sitting figure. “If you are none of the above, are you a clansmen?” The question was out of pure curiosity, and because she’s known a few clansmen like Casimir. "I see," He started, his words slightly muffled by the stick that rested between his lips. "so you have proved me wrong as I suppose that is an art form by itself." He would consider it to be an art at the moment because he hadn't the slightest clue on how clothing worked. It was not a material he knew how to use in a craft. Sure, he could stitch a hole but it was nothing terribly fancy or pretty to see. In fact, him patching anything usually looked pretty barabic. It was often so hideous that his brother often threw out the repaired clothing and forced Linny to replace them. It was utterly annoying to be quite frank. "I wouldn't consider you mad just yet as I rather agree with you on the matter." The pinkette raised his head towards the heavens to greet the light sprinkles that slowly came down on the two of them. Rain never bothered him as he often considered peaceful. It was one of the things he greatly took pleasure in, watching the rain. However, if he was in battle then the rain took on a more hendering role that made his life annoying. A sly smirk crossed his features. He turned his attention away from the crying sky and back to the woman at hand. "My, aren't you just the curious sort?" He paused to think on the questions she delivered to him. The pinkette idly tapped the ashes from his cigarette to chuckle lightly. "If I am or not, holds little concern. For all you know I might just be a traveling ronin without a home. But, for the mere entertainment his converstaion brings me let us go with whatever you believe me to be." In other words, he wasn't going to tell her his occupation or that he was leading a clan. "I'm sure your imagination is far better then reality."

A smile crossed her pale lips as they were dampened by the rain. “Imagination, huh?” Small soft laughs escaped her lungs as she tried to come up with some crazy story for the man. Sanibelle was indeed a curious type, but not in a bad way. Of course her curiosity could easily get her into trouble, but she was a careful type, always watching her words. Even though Sanibelle liked to think independently from the men in the world, she knew enough when to hold her tongue. Klaes and Casimir for example. Casimir’s partner showed a great disliking to her, but he wasn’t the first. As someone who worked in a demanding industry, she’s met both men and women sharing similar personality traits. It boggled her how the two were partners, but she wasn’t one to delve into such a past like Casimir’s. She would wait until he would tell her if he ever decided to. Sanibelle remained quiet as she thought of some quirky story. “Let’s see… You’re a king from a foreign land, who has fought many battles with his knights. A strong king who fears nothing and loves an adventure. Traveling the world looking for something new to excite him…” she stopped shaking her head. “My goodness, if Casimir heard what I was saying, he’d most likely just give me one of his looks. He’d probably say: “You have a wild imagination, Ms. Sanibelle Greenwood”, then give me a smile because he wouldn’t know how else to respond.” Amethyst orbs were covered in a crème blanket once again before they were uncovered. She missed the conversations with the black leopard strain. Even though he was awkward, he was still a kind soul. Slightly troubled, but still kind and polite. Sanibelle looked at him as a source of information and something to fulfill her loneliness on occasion. “People travel the world for many different reasons…hopefully your reason is something that is worthwhile. If not, you seem to be enjoying yourself.” LINNAEUS LUPIN ❊

Bemused, Linny gave the woman his full attention. He had to wonder what kind of story she would make up in her head. If she was the type to relax outside during a little rain at night to have dinner, then she should prove entertaining. His pink brows came together in slight irritation mostly due to the fact that his cigarette was getting a bit damp. With a grunt, he flicked the ashes off to the side and waved it about lightly to try an knock away the rain drops that rested on it. Smoking and rain did not mix well, go figure. He sighed lightly at his misfortune and a moment later tossed the dying stick off to the side. The rain that was coming down was making it difficult for it to stay alive. "Tisk." Was all he said as he watched the stick die in the grass. Though not to be rude, he listened to her words and couldn't help but smirk. Oh, she was pretty close to the truth. He was indeed a King but he would keep that to himself for now. Adventure he did adore but his traveling was pure business and less pleasure. Though, he did find his ways around that to make it more pleasurable as it could be worse. He could have a turkey peeking his one good eye out. "My, you do have a grand imagination, don't you?" The pinkette chuckled. "I like the history you came up for me. It makes a bit sad knowing that is the extent of my excitment, your story that is for my life is nothing like that." Oh, how he was lying out of his two front teeth. But what best to make life a bit more exciting? Not everyone needed to know the truth. Though, he must admit he was surprised to hear Casimir's name come from her. Had one of his clansmen journeyed out this far or had Klaes dragged the poor strain out and about. "Casimir? That's an interesting name. A friend of yours I assume?" The King asked in a friendly manner. He wasn't at all bothered that Cas might of wondered on his own, hell, he would encourage it. The poor boy needed to get out and make some friends and probably take Raz with him sometime. Hell, even his brother. Actually, no. No, the idea of those three together in one room slightly scared him. "DON'T EVER FORGET ME, DON'T EVER ERASE ME"

“Well…I don’t know if he’s truly a friend. His partner doesn’t approve of our talking I guess…” She shrugged. Before the blonde haired woman could say anymore, a loud gust of wind whistled through the tall grasses and the snapping of trees could be heard. The rain began to form a heavy wall of water to the point it turned Sanibelle’s pale face to a red shade from the pain. A loud clap of thunder was heard and the rain turned into ice. The change in the weather made her stand up in a reflex and hands quickly pulled her hood up. “Fuckin’ weather change…” Sanibelle’s lean frame shivered slightly as she pulled her cloak closer to her. She wasn’t inspecting the weather to change so fast. The blood in her hands escaped into her arms, making them turn blue and hurt a little bit. Small hail began to pelt down, hitting against the human frames out in the open. “We o-o-ought t-t-to find a cl-cl-close shelter,” she shivered more. Her body felt frozen, and she knew if she stayed out any longer, her body would slowly shut down. The blonde woman bent over, and reached out a shaky hand to pick up her lantern which was still burning and her small basket. “I know there’s a small shack around here…I’ve used it before.” She gave the man a weak smile before she started to slowly walk down the hill. Linny scuffed lightly at the woman's words. Casimir's partner didn't like anyone. This was kind of a known fact within the clan. Klaes was, well, Linny would prefer not to think to hard on that man. Shaking his head lightly he responded, "His partner, hm? Sounds like a fun fellow." As fun as putting his hand in fire, yeah tons of fun right there. Speaking of fun, Linny turned his eye towards the heavens above and frowned. The weather was changing and it wasn't going to be a good weather change either. The older man stood and brushed the wet grass from his pants. Reaching down, he took the latern before the young lady could grab it. "I know where it is." He spoke softly and assisted her down the hill, wincing slightly when the hail decided to be brave and smack into his body. "Got to love mother nature's temper. It's a bitch." Reaching down, he took her hand in his and speed up the walking speed and took to the trees for protection during their walk. Within a few minutes they located the shack which ironically, Linny was using as his place for the time beinging. He allowed her to enter frist and then closed the door behind him after entering. He stood there for a moment listening to the wind. "It's gonna get real nasty. Best stay put here until shes finished with her temper tantrum." Linny then turned his eyes to the woman. "You all right?" To him, she didn't look so well and he wasn't sure if it was from the cold or if the hail might of knocked her a bit loopsided, as his twin would say.
