court sword

One of the only pieces of his personal history that he carries with him everywhere. This is the court sword awarded to him after his battalion's fateful battle. It has an intricate, ivory-engraved hilt, and a brilliantly sharp blade that Nikolai maintains regularly.

scourge

A wicked leather cat-o-ninetails that can inflict severe damage on bare skin. Albeit...Nikolai mostly uses this as an implement of self-torture rather than an offensive weapon, and thus the only blood it spills is his own.

first aid kit

A simple pack of wound care items, including bandages and salves. Just enough for him to patch up any 'accidental' wounds.

supplies cache

A well-hidden cache of supplies that Nikolai moves in the wilds on a semi-regular basis. It holds all the things that he can't carry with him regularly but refuses to pawn or sell for one reason or another. Mostly consists of his full suit of armor, and extra rations and first aid supplies.

Self-Healing/increased stamina

While most regard healing as a means to seal wounds and ease pain, Nikolai, over the years, has honed this ability of the Silver Clan to allow him to take more punishment. His self-healing is slow and gradual, and thus will not immediately close wounds -- however, it allows him to keep moving or fighting while dealing with heightened levels of bloodloss and strain, which would otherwise render an individual unconscious.

Gravity Manipulation: Zero-G

Utilizing the aura of his clan, Nikolai can temporarily negate his own gravitational weight, so to speak, allowing him to operate as if he were in zero-g. Thus when this power is activated he can achieve heightened levels of agility, speed, and precision of movement, no matter how encumbered he may be in reality. It's perfect for pulling stunts while in full plate-mail.
