How long has she been out in the wild? The sky that was once colored in light blue has turned intense orange with shade of red that grew darker with each minute passed. Her mind wandered over the loss of time and in that second, she has let her guard down. One hard swing of its tail, and the beast huntress was whipped to the nearest tree. She coughed and grunted, before she sunk to the ground with her back resting against the hard trunk. Gloved hand raised up to hold the beeping head and to regain her focus.
The beast roared loudly- victory.
"God, you..." She muttered. A sigh escaped from her mouth- a surprise sound that stuttered the beast to glare his vicious eyes back at the human. She chuckled a bit and rubbed the back of her head. Her eyes glanced up to the beast and she said, "Honestly, give a lady a break. I was having my mind off elsewhere and you rudely threw me aside. Sheesh." She chuckled lightly more and stood up, grumbling from time to time because that swing was hell painful. She got to thank her brother for making her a silver clansman- no, the SILVER KING- or this might feel a lot worse. She patted her arms and legs with 'tch' sound escaped from her mouth, unsatisfied with the amount of damages this wild lurker has done to her outfit.

That was what said in a piece of parchment she drew out from Liyana's mysterious fortune box. Of course, she was just too skeptic about this since she could simply ask Liyana to read her tarots for the day, but the woman said ever since the night the sacred silver sword appeared, and she remembered who she was, she could not read her future. No- it was more like, whatever that came out was wrong and senseless. At first she thought she was cursed or something, but Liyana assured her that was not it.
In time we will know why. For now, trust on yourself.
She grumbled and shouted to her mind, "EASY FOR YOU TO SAY!" It was not her (Liyana) future that has black surface on its tarot! Rayne glared at the beast and pointed at it. "And you! Stop attacking me with that long annoying tail! I just want to go in to that cave and take someone's missing bag, that's all! So move!" She practically screamed at it, as if the beast could understand human language. People say animal can actually understand what we say, like how a cat comes when being called and how a dog sits when being told to. Of course they need to be trained, but still- they understand it.
The beast huffed heavily and shifted its whole body facing her. Its eyes shined in vibrate blue hue as it planned its next strike. Rayne made an annoyed face upon seeing the lurker. "Really now? You're just..." She was about to complain when she heard distant sound of leaves and bushes around her shook. She froze quiet. Her eyes took a peek to her side from the corner of her eyes. Something was coming.
From her left side, few feet from where she was, few lurkers came out- same species as this one but bigger and more vicious-looking. She smirked. "Pack?" That must be it. Her eyes fixed back on the one she was fighting as the others came towards it and started lining in front of it. Her lips cracked an even larger smirk. "Don't tell me... that I can't go through is because... that's your den... and there's... your newborn inside?" The biggest one of all raised its head and roared like thunder, shaking the ground slightly just from the vibration made by the sound. With messy and unprepared steps, she immediately dashed aside and ran for life, having the whole line of beasts chasing her.
"Wait, can we just... talk?! I won't come back anymore, I just need to take the bag!" She managed to shout out in hope the flesh-eating creatures could hear her suggestions, but seeing how they ran faster and faster, trying to catch her with their sharp jaws...
She figured they weren't.
