GHOST IN THE MORNING MOON TRUE NEUTRAL ● CLANSMAN ● RED CLAN  Stationary. That was his life in Ble, a city always changing like the very tides of the sea. He knew that one day, he too would leave the city, forever chasing the edge of the horizon to see where it might take him. It had been his father's way, when the ocean had claimed him as her own, and it would be his own way, when the time came. For a while though, he had to remain in place. For what, he didn't know. Perhaps it was for Henri, who had started caring for him, as his mother died at his birth and his father never returned home.
For the duration of his childhood, simply listening to the stories was enough. They came in endless waves as travelers from both the land and the sea passed through the city. Some, he tried to scribble down while learning how to read and write. Others stayed with him in memory only, shaping his dreams when he had them. They were agonizing dreams, always lingering on the edge of his memory when he bolted awake, heart beating fast in the midst of an ache of restless yearning. On nights like those, Henri would find him at the docks staring into the offing, feet dangling in the water. He never asked what it was Killian was looking at, but they both knew it was something visible to none other than the child himself.
By the time the blond was twelve, he was reaching his limit. He wanted to go. Away. Somewhere. Anywhere. Henri was the only thing holding him back, and eventually, not even his guardian could keep him in Ble for much longer. At that moment, the blond was caught in an incident involving the Blue Clan and a murder. Though Killian had had nothing to do with the event, he saw it as the perfect chance to leave Ble. And so he did, and with him went Henri, who didn't approve of the teen traveling alone. However, the timing made it seem as if they really were guilty of the crime that'd been pinned on them, and from then on, they were fugitives.
Their first stop was Lilla, and they stayed for a year with relatively little trouble.

A pair of well-crafted daggers often found sheathed at the small of Killian's back. They're not particularly fancy in appearance, and are slightly longer than than his forearms, but they're strong and durable enough that the teen hasn't needed to find a new pair. He likes them for being well-suited to standing extremer temperatures. | Knuckledusters
Though used far less often than Empty Skies, this pair of knuckledusters is usually hidden within Killian's clothes and make a good back-up should Empty Skies be knocked out of his reach. Like the daggers, the knuckledusters are durable enough to withstand the drastic changes in temperature his aura may cause. Small claws line each knuckle for additional damage. | Water vials
Small vials of water that are hidden on his person. Because his main ability needs a source of water to create ice, these serve as the source when the air is too dry. Generally reserved for fights only, though if he's desperate, they can serve as a source of drinking water. | Survival kit
A small, flat pouch strapped underneath Empty Skies' sheathes that contain various necessities for survival. Includes flint, a bag of dried meat strips, two small water flasks, two rolls of bandages, thread, bone hooks, and bone needles. This is very very helpful whenever Killian heads out for the Shadows or finds himself stuck alone in foreign territory. |
Icefire
Though Killian's aura normally produces heat, like the rest of his clanmates', his aura can be toggled to absorb heat instead, cooling the temperature of the air surrounding it and giving the flame-like aura a guise of coldness. Using this skill, the blond can make it so that water vapor in the surrounding air will freeze, making it possible for him to appear to control ice. All heat absorbed by the aura not including the aura's own goes to Killian, and though his body has come to be able to withstand more heat than an average person's could, using this skill for extended periods of time or on something too hot to handle will cause the teen's body to overheat. Because his body temperature is usually on the cool side to cope with this ability, being hot to the touch is a sure sign that he isn't in good condition. | Blast Burn
A skill that forcibly expels all excess heat energy from Killian's body in an explosion of aura. This is more of a last resort than anything, and is generally reserved for only the direst situations, as it's very taxing on his body. When used, unrestrained aura lashes out in all directions in an attempt to destroy everything within a five to fifteen foot radius, depending on how much energy was stored due to Icefire. After the skill has been activated, Killian falls into a comatose state, in which his body, freezing cold as it works with the minimum heat energy needed to function, slowly returns itself to homeostasis. He may remain in this state for at least three hours, depending on the environment, though the time may extend if his body instinctively senses danger or hostility. |

This post, secretly (or perhaps not; rumors spread fast) run by Killian, takes the form of a rented one-room apartment. A one way slot about as big as a textbook was installed into the wall by the door, and people can drop letters and items down the drop box to be shipped the next day. If an item is too big to fit, those who can write can leave a message detailing when and where the item can be found to be delivered. By the door, a small role of circular red stickers are set to place on the item to be shipped. These red stickers have long since become well known to the city inhabitants. Since money can be scarce, payment can be anything as long as it's in good enough condition. Examples would be a loaf of freshly baked bread, or an old book that's still in decent shape. Anything anyone has to spare, really, as long as it's securely attached to the item being shipped. Items without payment attached are kept and never delivered, so beware. From there, Killian takes what he wants or needs. The rest are brought to the clan to see if anyone wants it, and if no one there does, it's either sold or given away, depending on what it is.
