Growing up in one of the poorer cities, Felica had grown accustomed to the life of the poor since she was a child. Small portions, ragged clothing, cramped houses-- these were her living conditions since she was young, but she was okay with that. The young girl was able to gather up enough enjoyment through helping her mother knit clothing, or by watching her father work endlessly on whimsical items requested by the residents. He was a blacksmith, so it was wasn't unusual to find the man working on things such as hooks. At times Felica would find the creation of the same item boring after the 5th time around, especially when they were useless items for around the house, but even then she found her self allured by the burning odor that was released, and by the wonderful look upon her father's face, which appeared whenever he would finish an item, that screamed success. However, as much as she enjoyed this, Felica also adored spending whatever time she could with her mother, who was as sweet as apple pie. Even the woman's blinding beauty could not compare to her kind heart. No matter who one may be, this woman was the kind of the person who would always lend assistance when needed. She, with her glossy brown hair, would restlessly agree to fix whatever problem that may burden someone, even if it's for some unfamiliar stranger. Felicia always thought of her mother as some kind of angel because of this. Where they lived, it wasn't abnormal to witness a crime being committed, so to have such a pure soul within the gates was a breath of fresh air for the family and young girl. But, to the girl's dismay, her perfect mother had completely snapped one day. From what the woman hollered, she was sick of living in their disgusting home, she was sick of taking care of a whiny child, and she was sick of faking a smile just to keep everything from seeping into depression or anger. And, before long, this rant of hers turned into a motion of becoming free, which led to the inevitable fate; her mother had decided to leave the cities' gates and explore the wild. She never returned home after that. Thankfully though, Felicia still had her supportive father, whom had suggested to move into a cleaner city. The two had more money to spend with the mother being gone, so of course the option of moving was now viable. Upon this said move, business had increased, and more interesting request had found their way into the shop. Weapon, armory, shields--these were the kind of requests that made Felicia's heart pump. Like before, these blissful times didn't last too long. Soon enough Felicia's father was diagnosed with some kind of serious illness. It was one not too heard of, so even the doctors couldn't assist them too much, but what they were able to say was that he needed an overwhelmingly amount of rest. This was when Felicia begun to train in the art of blacksmithing in order to take over before the illness grows worst. This, however, didn't sit well within her over the next few years. Yes, no matter how many days slipped by, her passion for creating new items continued to burn, but even then...she grew tired of the same routine. Everyday would simply be like the last; practice, orders, practice, lunch, check on father, practice. Never was she able to explore the city, unless she had to purchase items from the market, nor was she given the freedom to even mingle with other residents who DON'T come into the shop. This is where her wicked nature begun to form. You see, the longer this lifestyle strained on, the colder Felicia grew, and so did her desire to murder her father. Yes, she could have easily leave the shop and start a new life, but for some reason her heart enabled her to do such a thing. After all he has done for her, abandoning the man would be unforgivable. So, basically, her desires were conflicted on this matter. Anyways, over the years the woman had begun to grow more and more tired of her line of work. Like previously stated, her routine was extremely dull and repetitive. The only thing that would even slightly spice up her day would be a request for some kind of interesting item, and those are extremely rare to get. So, in order to cure such boredness, the woman took a liking to communicating more than usual with the costumers. With each conversation she had with a costumers, she would implement a new sort of psychological trick to see if she could acquire the result she wanted. It was when doing this she discovered ways to con and trick whomever she pleased, using different methods with each individual and their unique personality.Though, even Felicia chose to restrain herself from doing this to often. She knew that creating a bad rep for the shop would simply lead them to bankruptcy, and even if she didn't have a father to care for, the woman did need to eat. Over the next few years the woman would experience the struggles that come with being "weak". Day after day clansmen would waltz into the shop, holding their heads up high, and demand for certain items. Each one would make her feel worthless, weak, helpless...These were feelings that disgusted her to no extent. It were these feelings that opened her eyes to her lack if power. Because no matter what weaponry she uses, or what tactics she has under her sleeves, her powers will never match up to one of a Clansmen. It's like that everywhere, whether it may involve fighting or social status. And this was something she grew to hate, no, despise. This is why Felicia molded herself a new desire; she wanted to make a name of herself and show the world that even a nobody can compete on the same level as kings, and she plans on achieving this even if it means committing murder and other crimes. | TIMELINE -Enjoyed life with her mother and father despite living in a corrupted city. -Mother, after countless years of being considered the "perfect wife", snaps. -Felicia and her father, now owning more money than they did before, were able to move into a new city where business was better. -Her father falls ill, and in order to take over the shop before he's took sick to work, Felicia decides to train. - She masters blacksmithing after countless nights of pure practice. -Felicia grows tired of the same routine everyday, which grows into hatred for the one who got her into this mess-- her fahther. - She realizes how weak she is compared to the clansmen around the town, and because of this she begins to strive to become better, stronger. - She starts to learn how to con others. |
