longbow & arrows

Despite being instructed in the art of wielding a sword, valère found solace in the precision of archery, preferring to utilize the bow and strike from a distance. the distance granted him the opportunity to avoid bloodshed, which he appreciated, and in his own mind, a properly aimed arrow caused less agony than numerous wounds from an inexperienced blade.

silver staff

As a healer, valère decided to utilize a staff as his signature weapon when forced into close combat. he felt that bladed weapons spelled trouble, so he vowed against utilizing one. plus he can use his staff as an aid in walking if needed.

MEDICAL POUCH

Due to his trade, valère does not feel comfortable traveling without a collection of various herbs and herbal concoctions, and the pouch itself served the test of time. he refuses to part from the ragged bag and continues to mend it whenever he spots a hole or imperfection.

white cloak

In order to hide his features, valère purchased a hooded cloak, and unlike many cloaks, it is a snowy white color and shrouds his entire figure, basically dragging along the ground due to val’s somewhat lacking height. fur is placed around the hood and edges of the cloak with faint blue lines crawling up the cloak from the bottom. the signature of the cloak, however, is the sapphire embedded clasp, which valère received from astor on his deathbed.

gravity dispersion

As a member of the silver clan, valère can manipulate gravity; however, his version of altering gravity is very isolated. he creates a bubble around himself that makes potential threats heavier, granting him the opportunity to flee or successfully obtain the herbs that caught his eye. he rarely utilizes his skill in gravity manipulation for combat and tends to display himself as an incompetent fighter.

healer's touch

Unlike his king who can synchronize his aura with other beings and can temporarily alter the aura of people, valère cannot do so; however, he learned how to manipulate his aura to ease the process of healing. due to years of experimentation, his control of his aura cannot be surpassed, allowing him to act with precision. his healer’s touch ability is basically turning his aura into needles and utilizing it to assist him in precision oriented tasks (i.e. lock picking, stitches, and so on).
