imperial rapier

on his fourteenth birthday, his father awarded him with a magnificent present—his rapier, for klaes displayed phenomenal skill in fencing, proving to be highly proficient with the slender and light weight weapon. over the years, his rapier has changed, leaving him with a collection of well cared for blades; however, he will only have one rapier on his person at a time, preferring to leave his weapon in a sheath attached to his belt.

hunting knife

as a close quarters fighter, klaes decided to invest in a secondary weapon, wanting to maintain an air of surprise. he decided that a hunting knife suited his purposes as a bounty hunter, and he tends to keep the weapon hidden in his left boot, translating into trouble retrieving the blade on occasion.

silver pocket watch

with the dawn of his twenty-first birthday, klaes stepped into the public eye, and his father presented him with the beloved family heirloom. the silver pocket watch remains on his person at all times as the metallic surface depicts the sun and moon in combat, displaying the duality of the family’s and klaes’ nature.

emerald embedded pendant

after his mother’s death, his father presented him with her favored necklace, placing the emerald embedded pendant around his neck and forcing him to promise that he would never leave the manor without it, and over the years, the necklace has become his safety net.

resonance

despite his carefree nature, klaes decided to pursue the safest route for utilizing his newfound abilities as a blue clansman. he began by practicing his aura manipulation, weaving the aura into the objects around him and playing a dangerous game of trial and error. eventually, he deemed himself competent and began imbuing the aura into his weapons, increasing their durability and combat capabilities by manipulating the property of his aura. his preferred method is to leave his rapier with a faint blue glow, the edge visibly extended and flowing like a babbling brook.

acceleration

due to his own stupidity, he decided to experiment by manifesting his aura and shaping it into visible objects, wanting to see if he could turn his aura into a viable weapon. by definition of the word success, he failed; however, he discovered a useful ability during his experimentation. by turning his aura into senbons and then sending the projectiles into the air, he could influence his own combat capabilities by letting the senbons pierce his body and reacclimatize to his own aura, momentarily heightening either his strength, ability, or dexterity based upon where the senbons landed.
