childhood
he was born finnian tiberius monroe, and he was actually a happy child. his father was his role model, someone he always followed around as often as he could. his mother was the warmth he never knew he was missing from his life. it was a nice set up, really. he adored his parents, and ever since seeing his father's first bow and arrow set. needless to say, it was love at first site for young finnian. it wasn't until age seven when his father finally caved in and started teaching him. first with blunt arrows. around that same year, another little bundle of joy joined the monroe household, aoife. little aoife frigga. and from that moment on, he found another thing he adored with all his heart. his little sister became his world, and even though your parents were keen on watching after her closely, tierney felt that he could watch over her on his own. at age ten, you found another love. horses, how pretty they were and how they moved. how just a sound could command them to do something. his parents became suspicious of tierney's wanderings, and soon followed him, finding him near a stables, watching the trainer as he snapped a whip around the ring. his father thought it was a silly thing to become fascinated by, and normally didn't allow for tierney to get near the animals, for fear something would happen to him.

four years, he started sneaking off. aoife followed him once, though with her young curiosity, he couldn't imagine she thought they would be dangerous. his father was furious when he found out, but after some soothing from their mother, and after finding out tierney and aoife had met arthur and aurora, his mother started saying it was a good thing. a good thing they had met them. aoife, though young, never realized just who they were visiting, though she had a certain attachment to aurora, and whenever they visited, would follow her around. tierney himself found himself becoming friends with the would-be silver king, though that never changed how the purple-haired lad viewed either aurora or him. the years between his fourteenth and twentieth birthday weren't too noteworthy, nor years that tierney wanted to remember. the awkward years of puberty graced him, all the while he continued to grow closer to both aurora and arthur, though even with happiness comes tragedy.

twenties
at age twenty, tierney opened his own private tutoring archery. he had a course made behind his home and was quick to find many new students, some even coming from arthur himself. of course, that didn't stop him from spending time with the man who had become his best friend. frequent days of fencing and riding with the other man happened, though there was one day tierney would never forget. he heard the news when he was riding with arthur, and attack on his home. from the initial shock, all he heard was that both his mother and sister were killed. it wasn't until he reached the residence that he heard his father had run off. from that moment, his mentor was gone. his family was all gone. instead of falling into too big of a despair, tierney turned to honing his skills. by the time of his twenty-first birthday, he'd honed both his riding and archery skills, though he fell flat when it came to fencing, as clear as it was when arthur easily brought him to his knees.

he lived just outside where aurora and arthur lived, between his mother and sister dying and his twenty-seventh birthday, he'd made a vow to protect both of them. needless to say, he took this vow to heart. most people that knew him started calling him the silver guardian, with how he shadowed the two of them. he soon enough opened his own stables, and started training horses. it was there that he was completely in his element. it was this very same year that his father showed up once more, though tierney all but refused to see him. it was a painful reminder of what happened seven years before, and not one that he wished to remember like that. he still wanted to remember them how they were.

thirties/undisclosed time
the start of his thirties was a simple time. he continued training his horses, sparring with arthur, and like always, honing his archery skills. but the time he was thirty-two, his stable was well-known with producing well-trained horses. age thirty-three was the year everything changed. he was going to visit aurora, but instead, found her hanging from a wire. his world came crashing down as he realized he'd failed, once more, to protect his little "sister". needing to see arthur, and make sure he was alright, he rushed away with her body, but never made it to the silver king before the news was given to him, his friend, and king, had been killed. instead, he moved her to the only safe place he could think of.

the shrine was well hidden, and he knew the occupants of it would take care of aurora's body. and so, he made his way there. as a silver clansman, he was graced with the gift of immortality, and because of this, he knew he wouldn't stray too far from her. without a doubt, he had a feeling she would become the next silver king. he became a bit of a hermit, staying close to the shrine. he lived a simple life, training horses that would die centuries after he may have died.

centuries was clearly an understatement, as tierney felt the weight of the world turning with each passing day. of course, he never strayed from his past. there was a time when he decided to rejoin the world, but that was a few months before a girl named rayne hermes was found in a shrine.

years after

the years after the news of the girl, the curious girl named rayne hermes perked tierney's interest. an interest that brought him back into the "real" world in a way. without much warning, he opened a new archery school, all the while researching this rayne. after a few years, and some distance, he finally figures out it is her, and started to prepare himself on reveling himself to the girl he considered a little sister centuries ago.

TIMELINE

age seven
first time wielding a bow and arrow. forced to make your own when he was young. little sister was born during this year as well.

age ten
mother started asking him where he wandered off to while practicing, admitted to going to the stables near where the silver clan king lived, his love for horses blossoms.

age fourteen
soon becomes friends with arthur and aurora, becomes close to arthur and brings aoife along when he visits.

age twenty
opens private tutoring for practicing archery, mother and sister are killed in a home invasion. father walks out of his life.


age twenty-one
started riding with arthur, along with spending more time with aurora. started fencing as well, though he'd always have a love for archery.

age twenty-seven
opened his own stables, started caring for more horses, along with his archery gig. spoke only once with his father since his mother and sister's deaths.

thirty-three
found aurora hanging by a iron wire. devastated over losing the second younger "sister" in his life. attempted to go got arthur, but never made it to him before he himself was killed.

undisclosed times
moved aurora to the shrine after arthur gave her the silver clan's king position. remained close to the shrine for centuries, watching to make sure no one came close to the shrine. opened his own private stables and trained horses, all the while continuing to master his archery.

after falling off the map, renamed himself "tierney monroe" and opened a small stable and archery school. heard about a girl named a rayne hermes and found himself curious

age twenty-one
finds it is aurora, though he keeps his distance in case she she isn't prepared for anyone else being alive from their time. keeps his distance from her for a few years, though doesn't go against his king's promise of protecting her.

age twenty-four
planning to reveal himself to rayne as soon as he's ready, keeps hesitating though.
